You might really like the Majesty games. The first is aged but is still considered a playable classic by many. (I've played it a bit in the last couple months.) The second lacks some charm of its predecessor and often feels like a puzzle to solve, but the style of play is unique.

Given that you like AoE, you may also like Rise of Nations or its fantasy counterpart, Rise of Legends.

Rise of Nations has a new EE version available, and the game is a lot of fun if you like quasi-nation builders like AoE and Civilization. (The lead designer was involved with Civilization 2 and Alpha Centauri, and those roots show through a bit with RoN.)

Rise of Legends is a more difficult option, only because I think you'd have to grab a physical copy somewhere. Many gamers, myself included, prefer this addition because the steampunk flavor of the game works so well.

As mentioned above, Steelseries pads are great, inexpensive, and you can easily pick one up from Amazon or your shop of choice. I personally like the QcK+, because it's like designating an entire part of the desk for that purpose for a few bucks extra.

Don't fret too much with the mousepad choice, with a decent mouse, he could probably use a nearby wall and still get perfect tracking.

First off: as a rule of thumb, "gaming" anything is a big red warning sign unless you're buying mice and mousepads (or in recent years some models of mechanical keyboards).

Gaming headsets are in general overpriced and have a short product life span due to the (usually non-removable, non-replacable) cheap mics dying well before the headphones themselves pass.

As far as I'm concerned, the only reasonable option in terms of price-efficiency is to get a pair of proper headphones (Sennheiser HD555 would be top contender for the sub-100 dollar range if you can find them) and a table or clip-on mic.

The Zalman Mic1 is probably the most price-efficient mic in existence. The mic quality is more than good enough for talking and they are more durable than one would expect for the price.

If you're willing to get spendy with the headphone part I would recommend my current pair: Audio-Technica ATH-AD900. Some of the best sound quality I've had the pleasure of getting acquainted with.

Black and White?

Jurassic Park Chaos Island (Not sure what's up with the Metro 2033 logo there).

DinoPark Tycoon

I'm not sure about Petz but you can search Amazon and see if anything that comes up matches what you're looking for. Amazon is a decent spot to search for older games because you get the websites and people who are selling used copies through Amazon as well.

How's their desk setup? I grabbed a large mousepad (link) and it helped my gameplay significantly. No more cramped space. I also bought a Zowie FK1 mouse, though a mouse is something the player would be inclined to research into before purchase- they might not like that particular mouse for instance.

Otherwise, Valve has a store for physical items. You can net a Steam gift card as well, there are thousands of in-game items for purchase- but be careful, some players don't even bother with them (they're all cosmetic anyways) so maybe try checking into that option before purchase.

Don't the Wii and PS2 come default with a composite cable and simply the adapter SCART you have in your picture?

If for some reason your PS2 didn't, you can get one of those cables here.

As for the Wii I saw that it only supports composite and YPbPr (Red/Green/Blue RCA combo) in the NTSC region, which is a bummer because YPbPr converters are expensive and composite isn't the best quality for the Wii... But yeah you can use the composite converter for the Wii as well with the right cable (which, again, should have come with your Wii normally, it did with mine).

To my best knowledge, and I've looked, there is no legitimate digital source of The Sims 1, and there never has been. Even if there was, EA pulled Sims 2 from Steam the same day they removed it from Origin with no warning at all, and I'm sure the same would have happened to TS1.

You could try Ebay or a retro games store in the hopes of getting a physical box but they're all over a decade out of print, so it's highly unlikely you'll find it.

EDIT Apparently a physical box wouldn't be hard to get: http://www.amazon.com/The-Sims-Simulator-Creator-SimCity-Pc/dp/B000040OEI just one left in stock though.

I totally agree that it's sketchy as fuck, but Op seems to have the game working now.

The game is popular enough, it could be found elsewhere easily though. If anyone wants a legit copy, http://www.amazon.com/Dino-Crisis-2-Pc/dp/B00007BGOJ seems to work although being in Canada I'm sure as hell not ordering at that price.

Is that game for GBA ?

If it is that one, you get it from amazon here:

I had this one when I was younger, I think this is what you're looking for. Definitly buy a used one.

It has Galaxian, Dig Dug, Pac Man, Rally X, and Bosconian

You don't always need to set the axis to it. A lot of them have an analog stick where your thumb would be.

Like this. Though it is for right-handers.

Forget the Xbox HD-AV pack, and go for a Xbox Digital Av Cable.

All you need to look for is the Component cable (red/green/blue), and audio.

Xbox Cable ($23)
Dreamcast Adapter ($27)

If you mean the Charge Kit for the Wireless Controller I have tried using that with a PC and I have never had any luck. If you find a game that does not support a controller you can use This software to map each button to its keyboard and mouse counterparts.

From what i know there was a song in the game that had some copyright issues so it was removed from digital downloads. It's a shame you can easily torrent it or buy it here i had the exact problem recently as well.
