One recommendation for sleep is this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006IIGRA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's not CBD, but it's amazing stuff. It was recommended to me for my back issues. It hasn't done a thing for my back pain, but I haven't slept this well since I was a kid!

I wish you the best. I've heard lots of good things about CBD for MS. My dad had MS. I wish that this was a known thing when he was around, but he's long gone now.

For some good brands to try, see the companies in the sidebar. A lot of us use them and have had good results for our various maladies.

The way we are typically educated to have sex is based on high levels of tension and excitement in a way that is thrilling, but not really deeply satisfying. As you learn to really relax, some of the 'normal' ways of doing things may no longer suit you.

When I got to this 'problem' I learned tantric sex, it is a relaxed non-doing style of lovemaking that seeks to build sexual and emotional connection with yourself and your partner.

In that context being relaxed, present and not chasing orgasm is an advantage, rather than a problem. When orgasm does occur, it relies much less on muscle tension and still feels lovely. Since this method builds a lot of sexual feelings between you and your partner, it tends to be an add-on to'normal sex' rather than replacing it ;)

I enjoyed 'The Heart of Tantric Sex' by Diana Richardson.

Sure, I spent a year making all kinds of extracts and tinctures and reading endless forum discussions about it. There is a great technique called the Quick Wash Ethanol Extraction Technique. QWEET. There are other methods that work, too, but this one is my stand-by now. Feel free to ask if anything is unclear.

Anyway, you basically use 190 proof grain alcohol chilled to 0 degrees F in a freezer. You then decarboxylate your crumbled plant material for an hour at 240 degrees F in your oven, then freeze it, too.

In my recent batch I had a couple ounces of Charlotte's Web flower, so I crumbled that into a half gallon mason jar after the decarbing process, then put it into the freezer, too.

So you end up with two things in your freezer at zero degrees:

  • 1 bottle with 500 or more ml of grain ethanol. A fifth is 750 ml.

  • 1 half gallon mason jar containing 60 grams (2 oz) of crumbled decarboxylated cannabis

You should also have another 2 jars to collect the filtered extraction. They can be quart jars.

After things have chilled to temp, the process goes like this:

  1. Bring out the frozen jar of cannabis and the bottle of chilled ethanol. Have the second and third jar ready. You now pour the ethanol into the jar with the cannabis until it is just covered, no more. Just enough for it to slosh a bit. You slosh it around in that jar for one minute. Some people don't even do it for a full minute, but I do.

  2. This slurry is then quickly poured through a small kitchen strainer into the clean empty jar. This is just a pre-filter to remove most of the plant material. Let the ethanol drain out of the material, then discard the spent cannabis.

  3. The third empty mason jar is now covered by one of those personal coffee filter holders, with a [quality unbleached coffee filter] (https://www.amazon.com/If-You-Care-Unbleached-Filters/dp/B005P0FTYM/ref=pd_sim_79_5?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B005P0FTYM&pd_rd_r=6a4bbfb5-cf5c-11e8-ab44-9143b7b890b1&pd_rd_w=AdTtr&pd_rd_wg=mHLjJ&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=18bb0b78-4200-49b9-ac91-f141d61a1780&pf_rd_r=Q31XVYZ0VWC9SAXJVC0F&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=Q31XVYZ0VWC9SAXJVC0F) in it. Start pouring. This takes a while, so you pour an amount in and wait for it to drain, then add more, etcetera. Eventually it has all been filtered and is in the third jar.

After that you can do a few things. It is technically already a tincture, but you can evaporate off some alcohol to concentrate it more. You can also turn it into thick oil or dabbing material by pouring it into a clear pyrex baking dish and letting all of the alcohol evaporate. The longer it sits the thicker it gets. You then use a razor to scrape it up.

For a truly ideal tincture I will evaporate off all of the alcohol as described, because frankly alcohol tinctures DO taste like shit. I scrape up the thickened oil and then dissolve it into 60 ml (two ounces) of MCT oil. It easily dissolves with just a bit of heat and stays that way, and there is very little taste at all. Now it can be used sublingually for maximum absorption. You can even get all fancy and add flavors. 2 or 3 drops of this oil-based flavoring is ideal.

I don't know anything that's strictly shelf stable, unfortunately. I want that too, if you find anything...

For that much oil, I'd go with two batches of good old brownies. Make sure the CBD oil is "activated," decarbed, ready-to-eat, whatever. It probably is if you're expected to take it sublingually and it says it has "CBD" (rather than "hemp" or "CBDA").

To turn any cannabis concentrate into butter is dead easy. Just get the amount of butter you need for your brownies soft and melted, then stir the decarbed/activated/whatever concentrate into it, then let it sit in the oven at ~200F for 20-30 minutes, stir again, until it's good and blended. Fats like butter absorb cannabinoids, and since concentrates/isolates are mostly just cannabinoids, you don't need to do anything special. You're not infusing it like you would with flower, which requires more steps and more work.

Don't use a box mix!! They don't freeze well! I recommend two batches of Alton Brown's recipe with two changes: use a straight-sided 9x9 inch pan like this one and bake for 38 minutes. Cut into half, then half, etc. until you have 64 pieces. If you do two batches, you can get 128 pieces, which is pretty close.

Even after being frozen for a month, they're the perfect consistency and really delicious.

Edit: By the way, if you live in a legal state, it's easy to make MJ gummies from shatter, then also CBD isolate gummies, then eat them together. You're getting full spectrum (all the cannabinoids, terpenes) that way. A decent CBD:THC ratio (2:1, 3:1, or more) basically erases the high in my experience. Although I wouldn't drive.

A. Note other's points about Diamond. Don't do it.

B. While I have IBS and use/support CBD, I personally gained higher relief and more consistent digestive improvement with a prebiotic. I take Prebiotin, which has truly worked wonders. YMMV of course.

Hello, do not mix distillate with pg/vg. It will precipitate out. People say you can vape pure distillate in ceramic carts/pods but it might be slow to get started because it's so thick. What you want to do is get some flavorless terpenes to thin out the distillate.

This is what I see recommended a bunch but there are others: https://buy-terpenes.com/products/viscosity/viscosity-extract-liquifier/

I'm in the same boat as you so this is my process:

I bought a small beaker:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TVF9WQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and some blunt-tip syringes:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y2JWDQ3/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm going to place the distillate in the beaker and microwave for 10 seconds.
Add 4 drops of Viscosity and stir well with the tip of a syringe.
Repeat, if needed, until a decent consistency, then transfer to the pod using the syringe.

*don't let the distillate get too hot as the terpenes and CBD will start to vaporize/evaporate past a certain temp.

Ideally you'd want to use a hot plate with a magnetic stirrer, but those are a bit expensive if you're not running a commercial operation.

Currently reading a book on combining both...Mindful Marijuana User. It's not bad besides the occasional typo/grammatical error and the author continuously referring to cannabis with antiquated street names like 'grass' and 'pot' in what is supposed to be a clinical book on the subject. Besides those distractions the book is pretty good and I used some of the ideas last night with some success.

I stumbled upon Ashwagandha and was trying it for something different but after taking it a bit, I realized it was helping my anxiety. It's known to help anxiety also, which I didn't realize when I started it. Research it yourself as well but this is what I've been buying....

I keep mine in the fridge and use a oral medicine syringe draw cap to dose. I can't imagine taking it with me all the time, especially with a dropper lid. Perhaps a solid cap and another means of dosing might be a good idea. Sorry you're finding no joy.

CBD definitely reduced sebum production, and I look very clear atm. It wasn't even the effect I was looking for.

If you wanted to go the route of making your own from isolate, could do something like:

https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Foods-MCT-100-Oil/dp/B00KPZXER6

Isolate, cheapest atm are phytodabs or cbdistillery

Nature Bright SunTouch Plus Light and Ion Therapy
by Nature Bright Company

I like the ions and the timer. I build up from 15 minutes a day to an hour -- brought it to my office. I live in Central NY which is gray and cold all winter. I try to get sun but you don't make vitamin D unless the earth is at the right angle. I have been trying to go to Florida for a long weekend each March/April to kick the blues.
