(Part 2) Top products from r/DicePorn

I used to use this one. It was great because the top is big enough to fit about three hardcover game books. Then I decided to just separate out all the "copies" from my collection and put them in a great big glass candy jar.

I think these definitely fall under that category. They're an awesome novelty item, but they roll like shit. And I'm constantly afraid that they're gonna scoff up anything besides a plastic table top. Plus, I have to keep them in a separate bag from my other dice, since when I had them just mixed in with my other dice, I'm pretty sure they caused on of my d10's to literally break in half.

I have the set as well and it’s amazing. Looks even better IRL.

I originally bought some battery operated dew drop lights from Target when they went one sale after Christmas--they have a setting that will have them come on at the same time everyday. Unfortunately, those exact ones went off the shelves as they were just a Christmas item which is kind of silly... so to fill in where I needed more, I got these off Amazon!

I do like the Target ones better since they have the timer, but I'll just have to grab them at a later date. The Amazon ones are a good filler for now.

Ya know, if you really wanna take off sprue marks, that's not that hard. I recommend these micromesh pads. Start with the roughest pad, work until you cant feel the sprue (being careful not to take off any additional material.) Then work your way through the pads from coarse to the finest. The grit on the fine grit pads is so fine it will essentially polish as you go. They're handy to have for anything plastic-y.

If you want to be more frugal, a carefully used fingernail file, along with some polish after could work fine too. That's how I did warhammer minis for a while, although I benefitted from applying paint after the sanding.

Q-Workshop Classic RPG Black + Depend Nr. 363 = yay :D You'd probably get the same effect with any other nail polish that is similar to this one. ^ - ^

edit: After experimenting with other dice and some top coat nail polish I've found that if you mix glimmer nail polish with a top coat nail polish it gives you way smoother surfaces on your dice (aka pour some of both nail polishes into a separate seal-able container).

It's a great case but I'm kinda running out of room in it >.<

I was thinking about upgrading to something like this.

I know you mean real stone, but Chessex did do a granite looking dice that you can still find. They look atrocious with their red inking (imo), but I've been thinking of getting a set and re-inking them with a color that can actually be seen well against the dark patterned color.
