Nice. I bought this one for my Note8 and it works quite well on my monitor.

Gets a bit hot, but the phone itself warms up only a little.

I like the form factor of yours better. I want to throw together my own stand with a little fan, and the design of yours seems more conducive (longer cable, extra port). I'd have paid the extra 10 bucks for it. Oh well.

I have a Logitech Triathlon Bluetooth mouse, so I can switch between 3 different Bluetooth devices with just a button press. Quite useful. That, and a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and a Dualshock 3 rounds out the setup.

The problem is that the screen on the Note 8 is pretty freaking hard to attach a protector to.

It's a simple case and you need to exacto knife out a bit by the S-Pen because the design there is shit, but you can drop the phone at pretty much any angle and the swoop they did in the corners is going to save you.

I've dropped my phone several times in both cases and it's been fine. The Supcase has raised corners as well, but not as raised. Still I tested every case on Amazon and these two were tops.

I'm currently using the Spigen because I like the little magnetic kickstand, although I generally prefer and use Ringke cases because they have better buttons. I've dropped mine twice (!) onto asphalt so far, not a scratch or ding on the phone either time.

I went from a Nexus 5x to the Note and am loving the change. I recommend the Tech21 Evo Check. It's not too big and is rubber so it really helps maneuver such a big phone.

I get it, you pay good money for a nice looking device and cover it up so it can't be seen.

I use a Spigen clear, like this, you can still see the phone and had some protection.

Do it. Its perfect. The battery is more than enough. Took mine off the charger yesterday @ 5:10 a.m. and was on data for 11 hours and when I got home I had 43% left before getting on wifi. I got about 5 hours 45 min. Out of the first full charge. My case came yesterday, it is the Spigen ultra hybrid etc. Lol.. but this case is perfect to me, matte black around the edges (rubberized) and clear on the back.. doesn't add any bulk and has plenty of protection IMO

My everyday case is a Caseology Legion with a CardNinja Ultra-slim Self Adhesive Credit Card Wallet on the back. Comes up around the edges to protect it, good grip on the hand. It's a bit thick and with the card wallet it is not 100% compatible with the official Samsung round leather fast charger.

I always use this one. For my S7edge, Note 7 and now Note 8. Love it. I also put the dbrand black dragon skin on my phone too. Looks great through the case and notice less scratches that happen over time and finger prints on the back of the case vs not having the skin and it being very reflective.

I really liked the i-BLASON case. Had a built-in hard screen protector, a holster, and Otterbox-style enclosure, and a frosted back. Great all around protection, but because it's pretty protected in there, it's an absolute pain to remove and put back when playing with the Gear VR. That, plus it arrived too late, especially when my Note8 arrived early.

I have a Logitech bluetooth keyboard + mouse combo as well as a blue tooth game pad. If you're looking to get a Dex station, don't bother with the official Samsung one because it's way overpriced. Get this one instead. Works just as well

I have also been wondering this. Currently on my note 3 I use the Spigen magnetic mount and enjoy not having to fight with a mount.

Now I have my note 8 I'm looking forward to using wireless and I know that the magnetic plate will interfere with the charge process. I came across this iOttie however it doesn't support fast charge and its £65 from amazon which is a lot more than I'd be willing to pay. I discovered they have this model coming soon, I think we are both looking for a similar solution. The only other thing that slightly annoys me is that they both use micro USB rather than type C.

Solitaire has never looked so good.

With proper application and patience, it's good and they give you two. I've had mine on for a month now and it works with my spigen tough armor case.

I got a Spigen Rugged Crystal on the way from Amazon. I may get a Rugged Armor as well, after I see how it looks and feels with the Crystal.

I never use screen protectors because I hate how they feel, but if you're concerned for screen scratches you should probably get one.

My experience is that most slim cases work fine with wireless charging.
