I have 2 dash cams. On my daily, I have the Van True N2 Pro. Highly recommend it. It can record outside and also can record inside the cabin of the car. Really high quality cam and easy to use too. Here is the link to this dash cam


For my BMW I bought a more discrete cam. It is a dual channel cam so front and back of car are recording. It was a tad more expensive but I was looking for a discrete cam with a screen and it does the job well so far. The quality is really good but I think the Van True quality is better. Road ragers are one of the reasons I got a dashcam. Especially living in LA with all the angry, fucked up people here. I have a no name cam but TBH I should've gone with the A119 that was recommended by everyone on here. I actually just ordered the A129 Pro duo that just came out for wife's car. Looks like a really nice cam.

EDIT: Also, really recommend a high endurance SD card like this since dashcams put a lot of read/write cycles on sd cards.

Haha yes I was joking. I just finished reading Bad Blood the other day, I highly recommend it. I'm not much of a reader but finished it in two days because of how interesting the whole story is.

Loving it so far. Crystal clear pictures, records front and rear at the same time, and I like the longer rear view mirror. Prior to this I had the Anker Roav, but that one is prone to battery swelling.

I went to the dashcam sub and asked. This is one of the highest rated. It has a front and a rear cam. The kit I got also came with a polarizing filter, which cuts the reflections from the windshield(makes a big difference in clarity, the back doesn’t have one and it’s very noticeable). It also comes with a hardwire kit and a parking mode. If someone hits your car while parked it will record. I also added a Bluetooth button to mount on my dash to save clips. You hit it and it locks the clip from being over written.

Watching that gave me a huge adrenaline shot too. Aren't you glad you have a dashcam though? If you had not braked in time, without any video insurance would likely determine that you're at fault. With video, that guy is now at least partially at fault for making an illegal turn (from a middle lane).

This is why I tell everyone to get a damn dashcam. IT's not hard. The /r/dashcams subreddit even as that sticky thread with recommendations that got updated and theres like a thousand different How-To videos on Youtube.
