No problem, just thought to highlight another area of pads that you might not have known much about.

I haven't used a lot of pads since restarting PC gaming a few months back (after nearly ten+ years on hiatus), but my previous, and free, Razer Goliathus Speed (small) was ok for my Logitech G900.
I was going to go for the dual sided Corsair MM600 originally, but after purchasing my Corsair K95 v3 Cherry MX Brown keyboard (CH-9000221-UK), the MM800 was a no-branier when both board and pad can link up RGB wise.

A lot of good reviews can be heard about the Japanese company Artisan and their pads, especially Hayate and Hayaste Otsu, though they have ranges too, however these can also be expensive.

I would vote for the aluminium Corsair MM600 with dual sides; one side is technically better than the hard plastic surface of my MM800, but is far more performance based. As it is aluminium, there is a higher chance of wear and tear on mouse feet, but all hard mousepads have this issue, metal ones are worse in general.
The MM600 is near unbendable, super durable, and bespoke, but not that expensive.

Edit: here is a link to Corsair MM600 at £22.95 (originally £39.99); pretty good deal for two alternative hard surfaces!

Update: I got this version of the QcK - http://www.amazon.in/SteelSeries-Qck-Sims-67292-Mouse/dp/B00LIW8HU4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1491795599&sr=8-1&keywords=qck+sims+edition

I don't know if it's any different from the standard QcK surface. It probably is because it's printed, but I bought it because it was dirt cheap. In any case, this QcK is pretty darn good for the price and is slicker than the Gigantus. I'm not entirely sure which surface I prefer right now since I'm aiming well on both, but the size (and aesthetics) of the Gigantus wins out for me.

I live with a few cats and they all like to walk on my mousepads 😼 I just wipe down the pad with my hand to get all the hair and crumbs off. You can also buy a lint brush like this one. I have one and it works on getting the hairs that my hand can’t wipe off, but some hairs get into the threads and those can’t be taken off by the brush.

Edit: read your post again. For the paw prints you can wash the pad in soap and water in your sink and let it air dry. Glorious claims their mouse pads are machine washable. Rocket Jump Ninja on YouTube has a video on how to wash your mousepads

I've had a glass mousepad (granted, very dated at this point, I do miss my Icemat regardless. Back when Icemat and Steelpad (aka Steel Series) were two different companies.

I would say depends on how cheap you wanna go. There's a company called CS Hyde that makes teflon mousepads and mouse skates--literally when using both your cof is one of the lowest on the planet. I will say that even just common hand oils will mark and mar them so that they require daily cleanings, or sometimes multiple cleanings per day. You can get a large mousepad for super cheap on Amazon though (16" x 16"), and while this isn't necessarily the largest mousepad you can buy, it'll probably be one of, if not THE fastest pads. Comes with the teflon mouse skates and teflon tape as well (the mouse skates don't last very long at all with heavy use if I'm remembering right).

Granted, I haven't used any of this in so many years you might want to look up some more recent reviews on the product(s):

It might be an error but the Mionix Sargas 900 (the XL size) is £4 atm x.x

edit: Looks like there is a newer version but this still looks like a bargan

It's rougher than a cloth pad but doesn't irritate my skin all that much. I've had 4 hour plus play sessions without trouble. If it does bother your skin then you can try getting a sports sleeve.

I'm pretty sure you can find it on Amazon. Here's the link: HyperX Fury S Shroud Edition Pro Gaming Mouse Pad X-Large https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QY51WW6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RRsoDb81XJRM2

I used the qck + heavy for a couple of years, it is 6mm thick. However it isn't stitched on the edges so it rubbed my wrist a lot which I found annoying, but I would suggest trying it from amazon and return if it is too much

I actually tested a PTFE sheet as a mousepad, and I returned it because its glide was way too similar to my custom mouse pad, which I also spray with PTFE.

Also, that PTFE sheet I got from Amazon could easily damage. Fingernail marks would imprint on the surface with enough force, and that was only with a day of testing.

You could try an HDPE surface such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K2QT1XO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

If you wipe it off with Lemon Pledge in addition, the glide should be even faster. Not my video, but you can see how well it glides here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dI1O1-CpeBs

The only problem is that these surfaces may cause 3310 sensors to malfunction, so I'd suggest against buying one if you have a mouse that sports one of these.

Haha. Is the Fury S and Fury S Pro the same or are they different? fancy letting me know how it is in a few weeks time? Then I can go ahead and order it if you think the glide hasn't started to wear off :)

Edit: Is the QCK+ a fast glide cloth mouse mat then? Is it called literally 'QCK+'? I see a lot of different QCK+ variants, is this the one you are referring to?

I think the Glorious mouse mat will get you the most depth of all, but here are five I've seen/used:

HyperX Fury Pro

Glorious XXXL Mouse Mat

Mionix Sargas 900

Ducky Flipper Extra

Steelseries QcK XXL

I mostly researched slick materials, which led me to teflon and UHMW, and searched for teflon pads and saw the CS Hyde and the Ult-Mat (discontinued) and one by rude gaming (https://www.amazon.com/Gameware-RUDE-220-Fierce-Ultra-Slick-Steel-Surface/dp/B003TT1JDQ), that had some bad reviews.
