Here you go, I just finished picking up a new 4K monitor for my Pro and I can give you some guidance and what I suggest.

There are no HDR options that are at a price point you want. But for $399.99 the LG 27UD68P is the way to go. It's a IPS panel with 4K at 27" which is perfect for a desk or office. I have mostly played on a monitor as I enjoy playing in my office and letting the wife take the 4k Tv downstairs. It also has 5ms gtg and might I add, looks absolutely beautiful. It does have HDMI 2.0 so you don't have to worry about HDMI ports as well. This means you will be able to get 4k@60Hz

Great monitor and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a great 4K monitor for their PS4. Be careful though if you choose another monitor. Some only allow 4K@30Hz due to the lack of ports or will tell you it does it at 60Hz but only through the display port. Just check out the manuals as they will tell you what their HDMI ports do and what the monitors offer.

But you should really look at this monitor as I think you will be really happy with it. I know I am and a few others on here who play their Pro on it as well.

yeah, i switched off my vr box to get the best IQ for FFXV and it's totally worth it. the colors on FF are beautiful in full HDR. if it helps, i just bought an HDMI coupler to easily switch between PS4->TV and PS4->VR box->TV. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001OFJZDI/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Make sure the box is all blue like this, that’s a pretty safe bet. I’m in the U.S. so I have no idea how to Shipping to India works, but hopefully you can buy from amazon.

If you can’t find a PS4 Pro don’t feel too bad, The PS4 Slim will play your games just fine and that bundle sounds like a solid deal. Plus the Slim is super quiet, since that’s what you’re really looking for.

Black screen is normally attributed to handshaking issue or a data send/read speed issue.

Make sure your cable is up to par. If you're not sure, buy one that is. Don't waste money on anything above $15, but make sure you do get one that is graded to work with 4K HDR speeds, and not just 4K, as they may not work as well when dealing with more data.

If it's handshaking, it's due to how you have everything hooked up, like through a switch or receiver. Try directly plugging the system into an HDMI port on the TV and see if that fixes it. If so, work from there on how to better set up your configuration for everything.

Black screen is not being caused by the PS4 or by the TV, it's due to something in between them.

Many HDMI cables are rated or graded to handle 4K speeds, and they can. But this doesn't mean that they are all created equally. Any minor flaw in the wire can cause issues, and they can't test all of them to ensure they all run optimally at the speeds they should handle. This is why you want to get the fastest speed HDMI cable you can.

I have these and they work flawlessly. The HDMI cable that came with the PS4 Pro did not. https://www.amazon.com/4K-HDMI-Cable-Ethernet-Compatible/dp/B01N343SBS/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1537025099&sr=1-4&keywords=4k+hdr+hdmi+cable

Thanks for the downvote from the 1 dipshit that knows nothing about this. I'm sure you're a professional and could school us all with your wise ways, but are way too busy to reply with anything, due to being so amazing.
But to prove my point, read this https://mobilesyrup.com/2018/04/17/how-to-solve-playstation-4-pro-black-screen-4k-tv-issue/

I'm rude to dipshits who downvote correct information, when this area is already so damn confusing to many who know little to nothing about it. Fuck right off with your misinformation and trying to bury legit help.

Not a problem at all. If you're looking to approach this from a budgeted perspective, might I suggest the following recommendation:

u/wobel85 · 2 pointsr/PS4Pro

The Seagate External Hard Drive I have, well I have 2. If you take the shell off the drive, inside is a Samsung SpinPoint M9T 2TB HDD ST2000LM003.

When I first got the OG PS4 for my son I swapped drives, I opened the Seagate case, removed it & put it in the PS4.

I bought a PS4 Pro & this Seagate FireCuda Gaming SSHD 2TB ST2000LX001. Both are coming today. Right now I’m I have my 2nd Seagate/Samsung External HDD hooked up to my OG PS4 via USB. Says 3 hours to transfer almost 1TB.

The once my sons Pro comes today I want to remove the 1TB drive from the Pro & put in the FireCuda in. You said you don’t like Seagate well hopefully I luck out, this is most recommended 2TB drive for the Pro. I checked several sites, unless you’re getting a 2TB SSD this is the next best thing.

u/Jabronious1090 · 1 pointr/PS4Pro

I installed this one. Works awesome and really easy to do. $109 on Amazon

Samsung 860 QVO 1TB Solid State Drive (MZ-76Q1T0) V-NAND, SATA 6Gb/s, Quality and Value Optimized SSD https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L3D19MY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_hLRxDbDPQGC73

u/liquidsnakex · 3 pointsr/PS4Pro

Even though the PS4 Pro has a SATA 3 interface, it can't make use of the full SATA 3 speeds or even close to it (due to some unknown internal bottleneck), so the fastest SSD you can get is basically any of them, as they'll all be faster than the PS4 can handle. They're still faster than SSHDs, but slower than the same SSD would perform in a PC.

The best option is to just get the cheapest one you can from a reputable brand, I'd recommend the Samsung 860 QVO 1TB SSD ($102).

u/barret232hxc · 2 pointsr/PS4Pro

yeah it's the downside of the psvr but luckily this hdmi coupler has made life easier. I can just couple the two hdmi cables that I plug into the psvr box. I can confirm it's working I have the same tv as you https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-HDMI-Coupler-Female/dp/B001OFJZDI

u/cream_blumkin · 1 pointr/PS4Pro

Yeah, I suppose a little rig info would have helped. I have a

Samsung js7000 suhd tv with one UHD port.

>PS4 pro > single Ibis input

>Ibis output 1 > second switch(to TV)

>Ibis output 2 > PSVR "TO PS4" hdmi port on processor unit.

>Processor unit to second switch(TV)

These and these are the cables I've tried in various combinations with the PS4 pro hdmi that came with the system.

Like I said, all of the hdmi cables from the ps4 to tv support RGB and HDR.

HDR is not supported on either channel of the Ibis switch on a tv that is HDR capable. Both channels on the switch shows that HDR is not supported and can not work due to the vr processor, which leads me to believe that the only signal being picked up is the vr processor, and not that of the ps4 pro.

Okay a 15mm 2.5" Drive will fit in the cage? I was wondering that aswell was going to take some measurements but I Have a 3.5" 4tb Drive I tried installing using Sata extenders (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L9R3AKA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but the PS4 Pro dosn't have 12+v HDD Support so it would power the HDD(I connected using the Stock 1TB HDD and it mounted and booted up so i knew it was connected to the Sata/Power ports correctly just had to align precisely with a flash light. so i was thinking about Getting these(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A5323NO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2S4EXOOJ8Z82D) and (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002P6W8E8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1UCLUF7KW7AYG) to mount a 3.5" HDD. Any thoughts?

u/drdisappear · 2 pointsr/PS4Pro

Are you going to be sitting less than 3 feet from it? If so then yes, it's a very solid T.V. to use as basically a monitor for gaming with the pro. If you want to step up a bit because of view distance or just maybe wanting something larger for not a huge price jump, check out this 55 inch Hisense, best quality by far for its price.

u/4nonymo · 1 pointr/PS4Pro

Unfortunately many manufacturers will slap on the "High Speed" or "Premium High Speed" to regular HDMI cables and face little to no consequences.

You want to look for

Premium High Speed HDMI Cable (18Gbps)

But make sure it comes with certification labels, like the following from Monoprice Premium High Speed HDMI

https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Certified-Premium-Speed-Cable/dp/B01GCGKFBY

Note that some manufacturers make 18Gbps cables but skip the certification to save money, but that makes them hard to find without trial and error.

u/Hypo_Storm · 1 pointr/PS4Pro

They need not be expensive. The Amazon Basics one will be perfectly adequate.

u/JJMICK · 1 pointr/PS4Pro

I could use this work around too. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Edit* maybe something like this

Or this would be even better because an adapter could cause lag.

If it's obnoxiously loud, then I'm a bit surprised to hear that you have a Nidec. Yes, it can't hurt to try replacing the thermal paste.

As has been widely recommended by other professionals on here, I went with this Gelid paste:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002P5W4RU

And I replaced the square pads on the RAM with this stuff:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZJS8RWQ

For the thermal pads, I used a razor to cut it into small squares like the original pad sizes. If you do that, the single strip should be enough for 4-5 Pro units.

I'll check into tutorials and follow up again.

u/jilver · 1 pointr/PS4Pro

I appreciate the reccommendation - i also purchased those as well. I loved them! No issues. So i reordered couple more few months later when i needed to setup the psvr and they were crap and dropped signal every 10 seconds on the pspro.

u/Aegethir · 1 pointr/PS4Pro

This HERE is the correct link for the monitor.

For this kind of money, you cannot go wrong with it, plus it behaves admirably for the PS4.

u/mforce22 · 1 pointr/PS4Pro

Did you have any luck? I am with a KS8000 and tried with 4 different cables now with no luck, at this point I don't know if the issue is the tv or the PS4.

This are all the cables I've tried:
1.-Original PS4 Pro cable
2.-Amazon basics cable
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014I8SX4Y
3.-PlugLug
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WHEBA5G
4.-BlueRigger

None of them seem to work.

I got this cable. When researching my own issue I read several places that said the PS4 Pro has issues with cables over 6 feet in length as well and the cable I was replacing was 10. I only needed about 3 though, so I just went with the shortest cable I knew would fit where I wanted it to go.

From a google search that said "18GB splitter that works with PS4 pro" that took me to the Sony forums, all links from posts from that search.

Edit : There is no one solution. People are suggesting all kinds of different units. Probably difficult to get a general consensus on just "one" splitter that works perfectly above all others.

Oh you're in Canada. Yeah I checked the CA version and there aren't any newer models unfortunately. So it looks like you got the older 2016 model. Here's an example of one in the US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K14XKZH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_cfcwDb3JNQGMN

I was having screen tearing issues with hdr I bought this cable and haven't had a problem since

4K HDMI Cable 6 ft - Atevon High Speed 18Gbps HDMI 2.0 Cable - 4K HDR, 3D, 2160P, 1080P, Ethernet - 28AWG Braided HDMI Cord - Audio Return(ARC) for UHD TV, Blu-ray Player, Xbox, PS4/3, PC, Apple TV https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N343SBS?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

u/amezibra · 1 pointr/PS4Pro

beside that it is not a 4K monitor.. it will work at 1080p..wait Q2 2017 for a 4K one.

the 4K/non HDR ones will be cheaper (300$) and the 4K/HDR ones should be available around 500/600$

this one 4K@60hz and hdmi 2.0 will certainly drop to 300 or 400$..
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CH9ZTI4?ref=emc_b_5_t, so save 30$ a month till May or June and get it..

BenQ Zowie monitors are usually the most popular 1080 gaming monitors. They’re cheap, have super low input lag, low flicker, low blue light and they are used in almost all eSport tournaments.

u/Squeezitgirdle · 1 pointr/PS4Pro

Yeah, I forced it to stay on 2160p - yuv420.
I've also tried 2160p rgb but that didn't make a difference (also someone said that wasn't true HD).

Although playstation blames Samsung for it, my 4k chromecast device doesn't do this.

I've tried the default ps4 cable and I've tried a brand new one guaranteed to work. Which I bought here: 4K HDMI Cable 6 ft - Atevon High Speed 18Gbps HDMI 2.0 Cable - 4K HDR, 3D, 2160P, 1080P, Ethernet - 28AWG Braided HDMI Cord - Audio Return(ARC) for UHD TV, Blu-ray Player, Xbox, PS4/3, PC, Apple TV https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N343SBS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_IbzNAb2471NMR

I now notice it says hdmi 2.0 instead of 2.1 but like I said I did try the cable that came with the playstation as well (currently it doesn't reach my TV)

Also, to get 4k to work, I had to go to settings on my TV and turn hdr+ mode on

NOTE: In regards to the PS4 Pro, you must "Disable HDR video and choose 4K@30hz resolutions

u/morphinapg · 2 pointsr/PS4Pro

It's pricier because it tends to be a lot harder to maintain high bitrates without drops at further distances, so those cables probably go through a lot more R&D and testing before they get certified. Here's one from Monoprice at that distance though:

But of course can't do anything about the HDR since can't add that.

u/TheUncleShow · 1 pointr/PS4Pro

Hi,
Its easily solvable, I had the same issues, solved them in ten seconds.
Sonys cables (and MS X1 even if they look fancy) are uter crap.
I own PSVR, PSPRO and 4K OLED, so I had these blackouts, less than second each.
Well I got Amazon basic cables and it solved it.
BUT dont buy 2 identical length cables, if your PSVR is close to PSPRO, get 1foot or 1.5foot tiny HDMI cable (i dont think amazon has these, they have 3 minimum, but any HDMI 1.4 cable will do fine since there are no HDMi2.0 cables, thats advertising lie, HDMI consortium has only HDMI1.4 cables and they compatible with everything.)
So get one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Your-Cable-Store-Foot-Plated/dp/B00474YRE0
And one of these: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-High-Speed-HDMI-Cable-Standard/dp/B014I8SIJY
No more blackouts guaranteed.

cut a hole in the back of the HDD casing to support the connector, plug the connector in to the ps4. Done.

No fear of mashing in a HDD in to a slot the PS Pro was not designed for. No fear of cooking your HDD as it'll live in a enclosure it was designed for. No fear of cooking your PS4 as, sure you have to run it without the back plate which messes a touch with air flow, BUT that should be more than offset by the fact that you no longer have a heat generating hard drive in the slot.

    Done.

I'm ordering this today and will report the results.
