Im also using pure honey, it has to be 100% raw honey, basically straight from the hive and put in a tub/jar

I use Maunka Honey, every second day use it as a face mask and leave it for around 3 hours, and then every day inbetween use it as like a facewash/cleanser but leave it for 30mins-1hr

basically you mix it with water, make sure to natural water from a bottle from the shop, since people say there is stuff in tap water like chlorine that will affect it

and best way to wash it off i think is if your doing it before you go for a shower, dip your face in the sink ( cold water ) , some of the honey will dissolve off, but the rest use the tip of your fingers gently to get the rest off or any dry/crystallised bits and then go for a shower after

since sitting under the shower trying to get the honey off will make your sub derm more red and irritate same with the pressure of the water if its a good shower

I use this stuff, little expensive but its pretty good

It's always possible, but I think that's pretty rare. If you want to be 100% sure, buy this stuff(can be found in many grocery stores) and do a spot test.

https://www.amazon.com/Astroglide-Waterproof-Silicone-Personal-Lubricant/dp/B002DUDJWG/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=astroglide%2Bx&qid=1563719869&s=gateway&sr=8-1&th=1

It's only made of 2 ingredients, one of which is dimethicone.

EDIT: Yes, I'm serious BTW. You can zoom in on the bottle on Amazon and see the ingredients list for yourself.

>Which shampoo do you use?

For the moment, Dr Bronner's unscented.
I've found the advise for this on this youtube channel.

But really, it's NOT working. I'm still looking for advices on this...

>And can you describe, how did seb derm look on your face? Did you have areas of your skin that were peeled off and afterwards they are red, sticky and they heal slow?

That 's it: the brown flakes+redness patches on the side of the nose, between the eyes, and the forehead (not mentioning the whole scalp, which is still incurable for me...).

>Thank youu

You're welcome. Internet has saved my life so I try to help in response!

I bought mine in a pharmacy but you can buy this one from amazon with the same active ingredient: selsun blue with 1 % selenium sulfide

Yes, it is incurable. I‘m sorry if I used the wrong words. After your symptoms are away you should use it once a week. As long as you do this, the symptoms will not come back. That‘s a good deal for me.

KOSE SOFTYMO Speedy Cleansing Oil 230ml https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000V2FBAQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ITKlDbQ62B1XP

For no particular reason other than I saw somewhere it was sebderm safe. It’s great at removing makeup too! I only use it when I shower/after a night out.. other than that, I don’t wash my face much.

Calms the itching and moisturises, was recommended to me by my GP. I'm from the UK and it's very commonly stocked in pharmacies and even on amazon; https://www.amazon.co.uk/E45-Dermatological-Itch-Relief-Cream/dp/B001PMM1LI/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?keywords=e-45+anti+itch&qid=1571623495&sr=8-2-fkmr0

Piroctine Olamine is the hot new gentler version of antidandruff and SD treatement, I ordered a bottle of SebaMed shampoo https://www.amazon.com/Seba-Med-Shampoo-Anti-Dandruff-200ml/dp/B0015XEE3U/ref=sr_1_1_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1537710525&sr=1-1&keywords=sebamed+dandruff+shampoo

Nowadays I just use head and shoulders (pyrithione zinc) once a week

The scalp brush isn't for combing, it's for exfoliating the scalp and getting the flakes/scales off. I find that it works very well. I use it in the shower once I have lathered the shampoo onto my scalp thoroughly. Here's an example of one:

u/bitchXXXcraft · 1 pointr/SebDerm

if you just want to get rid of flakes, try this: https://www.amazon.com/Pomada-Azufre-Sulfur-Ointment-Cruz/dp/B00411B4CC

start by putting it on (as you would any face mask) for 15 minutes & washing it off in lukewarm water. traditional exfoliation only aggravates the seb derm.
