Good info.

I have been running a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3W 's with about 35K on them and they have been pretty awesome. Great in snow, rain, etc., low road noise, and at 8-9/32 on tread and have rotated them every 5-6K so far.

Did I say there were quite? hehe

Just a comment for removing the adhesive. A few years ago when I changed the bow ties on my Colorado I used a lot of the same steps you did.

However I got a decal removal wheel to remove the adhesive and it worked like a champ (link for it below). You can put it in a cordless drill and just go over the adhesive. I also removed the dealership decal while I was at it. When you finish it looks terrible, like it didn’t work. However I took a mix of 50/50 water and rubbing alcohol on a rag and wiped it right off. Absolutely no marks and it looked like glass.

Viair 88P! I have owned mine for a couple years now, very nice to carry under the rear seat! Everything included reaches from the battery post (passenger side) to the driver side rear tire(farthest stretch). No need to buy any other accessories!

It’s all good. You can plug and unplug it whenever you want. Shouldn’t leave any sort of ‘footprint’ on your truck as far as warranty is concerned. Here is a link to the one I bought Range Technology AFM Disable Device Yellow (yellow) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071VHGJHM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WrvPCb5CRTPFG

Order a pop lock from amazon. Then it locks when you lock the truck.

I have a cargo net that goes across from the hooks nearest the door. This works well for groceries and travel bags.

I also have cargo nets on the side walls just incase. But those haven't been useful yet.

Cargo net I bought: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0179KBKTS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_mU7OBb8WC5FKM

Sorry about the delayed response. Here’s what I’d tell you regarding install:

This is definitely not a “first time with a wrench” kind of job, but part of the reason I learned anything was by performing jobs I was under-qualified to complete in the first place

I’d say if you want to save a few hundred bucks then go for it. I would recommend you have a contingency plan such as a second vehicle to drive to the store for a missing tool/part, or to drive the shock/spring down to a shop to have them remove it for you if you run into trouble

Final piece of advice is this: compressing the spring with something like these can be extremely dangerous if not done properly. I’d recommend you start by watching a few videos of guys performing that part of the task (there are a few specifically for silverados) - if you don’t feel you are up to this part of the task, then have them installed professionally. If you are ready/willing/able to get that part of the install done the rest is just some tight bolts, properly placed jacks/stands, and a few hours to kill.

Highly advise you call a buddy to help. They might even be inexperienced too but they’ll get to learn along with you

Buy one of these and check them yourself: www.amazon.com/dp/B00GWFOSRS/

I've had shops give me those reports saying I was in the green when I knew for a fact that the tires were nearing end of life. I've also had them write down that I had only 3/8 left when the tires were only a few months old and had plenty of meat left. My theory? Lube techs are lazy.

Idk about the 18's but one of the first things I did was upgrade to the new wireless charger in my 17 so it would work with newer phones! lol

I also put on these side steps. https://www.amazon.com/Tyger-Auto-TG-AM2C20128-2007-2018-Silverado/dp/B01LZH2W3N I really hate chrome so i love the textured black and the look.

Mine came with a spray in bed liner from dealer so idk what to tell you about that one.

Also i swapped out my rancho stock shocks for Bilsteins 4600's asap they are a much better ride than the rancho's.
