Thanks, /u/lilsavito! Happy to be of service:)
I started Adderall for the first time just a few months ago - I was already eating well and the adderall wiped out my appetite but got super-thirsty so juicing is a great solution. You'll feel physically a lot better when you do it. Make sure to mix superfood-veggies/low-sugar fruit and go easy on high-sugar fruit.
Here's the juicer I have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003ZDNKSS/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's very easy to use and clean (important!) and my only issue came after I dropped the lid on the floor and there was a minor crack, still works fine. Really juices well for the price.
I'm working on a simpler, at-a-glance version of my on days / off days list - will post it here soon, hope folks continue to find it helpful.
Regarding my routine: in actuality I reliably take the Emergen-C / Fish Oil Pills / Vitamin D / Melatonin pretty well. I do believe they've helped with my energy levels and sleep regulation. I DONT exercise as much as I want to - I am convinced exercise will be super helpful but I also have a bout of depression so am working on it....but I despise exercise in general, so this list helps those who also despise it - the key is to make it as easy to do as possible so you can't talk yourself out of doing it, and to honestly tell yourself "well done!" after trying it, even if you only worked out for a minute the first time, it's a huge help to pat yourself on the back and encourage yourself for any effort you're making.
My productivity has been touch and go - biggest problem for me is making sure I'm not on the computer (reddit, surfing web) when my meds kick in cause they make me hyperfocus and spend HOURS online doing nothing else. The only way it helps me get things done (cleaning, errands, projects, work, etc) is to stand up and tell myself i'm not sitting down again till I start part of my project. I did this last night with deep cleaning my apartment and once I made myself get started, I worked for like 6 hrs no problem.
Other people have mentioned L-theanine - it's supposed to be great with increasing motivation/decreasing depressive symptoms. Here's the kind I got based on a recommendation: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TXY32FY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Will update to let you know if that helped! You have any tips to offer?
Depending on gender, there are multivitamins that are better suited than others, but generally you want a once daily multivitamin.
I personally take a generic rite aid once daily multivitamin, 1000mg of calcium, and 200 mg of Magnesium.
This is the Magnesium I recommend due to its high efficiency. Magnesium is going to be what is going to combat the tolerance issue. The vitamin C is what will eliminate the Amphetamines, and the calcium is going to make sure you are absorbing the vitamins as best as you can.
If you want to do this 100% correctly, you would also add a protein drink alongside dinner, 35g of protein is what I use. What is important is that this protein drink includes L-Tyrosine, which is the precursor protein in the formation of Dopamine. Dopamine is the Neurotransmitter that Amphetamines predominantly exhaust.
TL;DR
If you can follow this daily routine the health risk of amphetamines can be reduced. I take it daily, and I have never had an issue with comedowns, fatigue, or any real tolerance issues.
I take 10mg Adderall XR in the am, and 5 mg IR Adderall in PM.
Cheers, and hope you feel better.
L-Tyrosine should be pretty universal among brands. Ive been using this one from Amazon with good success. I would recommend one 500mg capsule before bedtime. That should help you reset your dopamine for the next day. Start this out just every other night though, as I’ve noticed it still works well into the next day.
As far as magnesium goes, you’ll want to avoid the commonly available versions magnesium oxide and magnesium sulfate due to poor absorption into your system. Magnesium aspartate and citrate are good options here, with Chelated magnesium being the best. RDA is 400mg/day. Take 200mg twice daily with food if you can, or all at once if you have a hard time remembering. If you haven’t taken a mag supplement before, expect a temporary laxative effect from it for a week or two until your body gets used to it. If it’s giving you trouble, Imodium (or the Loperamide HCl generic) works well to slow bowel movement and counteract this.
Yes. Linked below. I usually take three of the L-tyrosine (Morning, noon, night) on empty stomach, and two of the L-theanine with the morning and night dose of L-Tyrosine.
Caffeine pill works good when taking with the L-theanine, but really any source of caffeine will do. Hope it helps.

Hiya! Perhaps you could ask your psychiatrist for a referral to someone who practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have a book by Mary Solanto that's meant for group therapy, but it has some really fantastic skill building tips and exercises for time management and the organizational garbage we struggle with here. I've been meaning to see get into a group so I can have accountability, but procrastination comes with the territory. Heres a link to the book anyway and hope it helps! https://www.amazon.com/Cognitive-Behavioral-Therapy-Adult-ADHD-Dysfunction/dp/1462509630
Rare to find somebody that has the same job and takes adderall just like I do. My best advice for you is to buy some gloves (cotton or something of that nature) and wear them under your latex gloves. It helps A LOT. I also wear a beanie for extra protection... I dont fuck around getting cold anymore its not worth it.
[This] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DZI14L8/ref=twister_B00DZI0ZUO?_encoding=UTF8&th=1&psc=1) is what I wear. I have two pairs that I alternate... doesn't have to be touchscreen capable but you get the point...
Also, L-Arginine will help anybody that gets cold hands and feet, or even a limp dick. Basicly It opens up your blood vessels so you gain circulation back to those areas being effected. Must have supplement if you take adderall, and you dont even need to take it everyday imo...
And also OP:
Make sure you are taking care of yourself better than you normally would while on these doses. Eat enough, Sleep enough, Stay hydrated, take a multi-vitamin, fish/krill oil, extra magnesium, protein bars and bananas (great if you cant eat). Drinking milk is also an easy way to get alot of nutrition in you.
When you take adderall your body is using up energy it has to make the drug work right, when there is no energy to give you just feel dead tired. I know, I take doses constantly above 150mg and food is a huge factor in how things turn out for me. a high protein diet is very helpful.
And when I say stay hydrated that doesn't mean only drinking water. Too much water will wash out your electrolytes making you feel like shit. Throw some pedialyte (has the most electrolytes) in there throughout the day or Powerade to replenish them. You may also need to eat something sugary since adderall has a tendency to fuck with your blood sugar... salt too... make sure your body has enough or you will feel fucked up. Hopefully this helps.
I just recently discovered that a work out recovery supplement I used to take when I was lifting weights daily has L-Tyrosine and L-Phenylalanine in it, but in low doses. So then I heard about how those Amino acids were beneficial with adderall usage, but in high doses of up to 1,000-1,500mg spread throughout the day.
Here is that Amino supplement I take and recommend:
NOW Amino Complete
Now after I started this post, someone mentioned NALT or N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine which is an engineered Tyrosine to have higher bioavailability due to the added Acteyl Group.
Here’s a good article on NALT:
NALT information. Must read.
Yes, it does. Everything I had to do as a kid but didn’t want to was harder and induced tears and breakdowns and took 20 times longer than it should have. Later on, I just avoided or procrastinated to an extreme extent.
I struggled to remember and elaborate well during my assessment and received a subclinical diagnosis due to no early history but presenting issues in adult life.
After the diagnosis my psych recommended Taking Charge of Adult ADHD which covers how ADHD is in childhood as well. Of course this brought up more memories of things I did as a kid. If you have time before the assessment I’d recommend reading it as I think it’ll help frame your mindset to better explain how ADHD affects you now and did when you were younger.
A bar like this one sits in your door frame and allows you to do 3 different hand grips

Hey man, ive been a nail biter for about probably 15+ years. decided to get rid of this nasty habit and bought some nail biting detergent polish. it honestly is so repulsive you will not want your hands near your mouth. ive almost kicked my habit but i need to constantly reapply it. i strongly recommend this for anyone battling this.

I am not too sure about the cause, but I can recommend you to get these Oil-absorbing sheets. These are magical at temporarily wiping your oily skins.
this stuff is the best i used to just be sitting around in bed on a normal day and my armpits would sweat through my shirt.
first week i went 2 days in a row using this product and (mon/tues) and on wednesday my armpits were dry as a bone. If you do take that route, lay off the deodorant for a couple days. after that first go, one spray on a wednesday or thursday night would keep me almost sweat free all week.
and one bottle will last roughly 4-5 months in my experience.
People would use this in football for their groin area should work for you https://www.amazon.com/Gold-Bond-Medicated-Powder-Strength/dp/B0012K1A5Q

Electrolyte supplements. I take about half of one before running/working out, or if I know I'll be drinking a lot of water during Adderall days.

Just crush a bunch. Crush enough pills to have a big sample so that you get the same amount of each bead. Mix it all up and then Store it in a something. Then get an .001 scale and weight out what you want. This scale https://www.amazon.com/American-Weigh-GEMINI-20-Portable-MilliGram/dp/B0012TDNAM/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2P27TQUXAOL11&keywords=001+gram+scale&qid=1554232998&s=gateway&sprefix=001%2Caps%2C138&sr=8-3
You could possibly try out one of these. I mean you would have to disperse your prescription into the device once you've had it filled, but this could help with your abuse.
