If you have a lot a lot of money, figure out a way to import the trilogy edition of the Dark Souls remaster from Japan. I think it may only be for PS4 but it comes with all the games and a lot of great goodies. Otherwise if money is tighter there are some amazing Art Books (design works) you can buy online. Dark Souls 1 to 3 (3 comes out in August) with some absolutely stunning artwork from the game.

Yeah, you have to download the app. Sorry! :(

EDIT: To answer your question, I'm mildly extremely inebriated, but I'm using a Black Magic Intensity Pro for capturing the game content. Xsplit is currently a free program (in beta!) that will stream straight to twitch.tv. Hope that answers your question! If not, I'll answer when I'm sober. In the morning. Hopefully.

EDIT AGAIN: This was essentially what got me to stream: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=309480 He pretty much lays out all the choices and alternatives for individuals that want to stream console games.

Try the wheel of time series by Robert Jordan. There is a very deep and detailed lore in the series. Plenty of brilliant dark fantasy settings. You can get the first one here.Overall a brilliant series, very worth the read

My theory:

In this regard "wild" corresponds with "desire" from DS2.

The counterpart "corrupt" corresponds with "greed".

This also makes sense in regards to Artorias' "Will of Steel" because a will of steel describes a resistence to greed but not desire and you can consider Manus as a manifestation of desire an unfavorable match up.

The will of steel is likely a reference to Romance novel from Diana Palmer.

A story about a cowboy who didn't budge for the temptations of money, but eventually found the love of his life.

> A quick edit here: There's also the theory of Dusk being mixed with Pygmy's soul, being her transformed in Manus. This theory uses, in example, the fact that all the statues of Oolacile are defaced, combined with her royalty status, to claim that she entered the chasm of the abyss, she was beset by the dark there, and was transformed into Manus, bringing then the Abyss. I think it's a theory pretty acceptable, too.

I actually consider this theory the strongest because this explains quite well why a man such as Artorias with his unbendable will of steel was overcome by the abyss.

Not to mention, figures in the world of dark souls tend to live quite long and with Cairan and Artorias both being members of the four knights of Gwyns and the several hundreds of years of chance ...well you get the gist of it. Gough DOES mention that Oolacile was "our entire land" but it is unclear to me if he means it to be their territory or their native land.

> "I suspect thou hast taken a gander at it,
But the Dark of the Abyss, which swallowed poor Artorias, threatens to devour our entire land of Oolacile."

Artorias could have held feelings for another, but I'll leave the likelyhood of such a thing to your own interpretation.

> But of course it isn't clear either that there was anything bad about the primeval man before the people of Oolacile messed him up. So the ambiguity of the Frampt/Kaathe conflict remains. But I am just saying that if you call one side's products corrupt then maybe you are leaning toward the other side being right, when the game doesn't really say at all which side is right.

There is no real "right" side. That is what politics are about. You make decisions based on what you consider most needed. Ideals can easily be shattered by the shortcoming of whatever system you introduce.

hdmi won't matter, this is using the normal output. you won't be able to tell the difference if there even is any.

this is the cable you will need http://www.amazon.com/SANOXY-Premium-Digital-Microsoft-equipment/dp/B0030CGMAC/ref=sr_1_1?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1345857433&sr=8-1&keywords=xbox+vga+cable

then for the audio you will need an rca to micro plug adapter
something like this http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Audio-Cable-Splitter-1-Mini/dp/B00004Z5CP/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1345857518&sr=1-1&keywords=rca+to+3.5mm with these to bridge the cable http://www.amazon.com/Female-to-3-RCA-Coupler/dp/B002B8WVVU/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1345857578&sr=1-1&keywords=rca+female+to+female

or you could use something like this http://www.amazon.com/C2G-Cables-Go-Stereo-Adapter/dp/B000J1H4VI/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1345857518&sr=1-5&keywords=rca+to+3.5mm

i would then run the 3.5mm cable through the input on my computers soundcard and have windows listen to that and output through my default output. that way I could control the sound with my keyboard. since I had 2 monitors, and the one I was using had a dvi and vga input, I would just switch the input in the monitor settings (on the actual monitor, not within windows) and it would display the game on my main monitor and I could still use my second monitor to look things up on my computer. now since I have DaS for PC, I don't need to do that anymore, just running it in windowed mode :D

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about how I'd do this is to repurpose one of those saucer sleds!

Great work by the way, it must have taken a long time!

Carve? Just buy a bunch of these and break them into small pieces to hand out.

Worth noting that soapstone is available for use as a marking tool. I've used it in blacksmithing for making chalk-lines on iron. Actual chalk won't survive the forge, soapstone will remain visible.

So it doesn't look like a souls one, but you can get some and make a white soapstone sign anywhere you please

Could it be by any chance this sword?

By the way, how heavy is it?

I use one of the AverTV cards. Here's the link for it on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002SQE1O0/ref=wms_ohs_product

Need a reasonable quad core comp to stream with it.

This looks about right. It's only like $60. It's a nice model to have on display and swing around, but it's not meant for any serious cutting.

This is what I got. There is a wireless version just for Windows. I don't know if the ACTUAL 360 controller will work or not.
