It should as it seems to be fine in my chair, but you can always return it if it doesn't fit.

At the highest point it brings my chair to barstool height which is probably nice for taller people lol.
This is not the most aesthetic choice, but I bought this Queen sized blanket (extremely soft), and folded it a bunch of times into the size of a seat cushion. It's relatively thick, but provides the perfect amount of padding for a leap chair. I love the combination of medium/ soft cushion + excellent lumbar support. Not sure how it compares to DX Racer, but it works for me.

could give those a try if you don't want wheels but it looks like it would be roughly the same height as wheels.
That seems to be something in the tilting mechanism. It may be that the spring inside there has lost its lubrication. Try adjusting the tension if the tilting to see if that changes anything.
