I just cleaned em with some MAF Sensor Cleaner spray like this stuff here.

I saw a nice MPG improvement (~2mpg) from this, but changing my spark plugs (and properly gapping them) really was the biggest improvement.

Hey thanks. They are towing mirrors that slide over the existing mirror and then there is a knob you tighten against the OEM mirror.

So far I like them, they help out quite a bit with the 24' camper.

Get something like this from your local auto parts store, or even Wal-Mart. I had a car that had corrosion issues on the battery terminals and after cleaning with a wire brush, baking soda and water (as others have stated) I put these on and they never corroded again. Cheap investment, worked perfectly.

On my 2016 5.0 I’m running a Magnaflow 12289 and it sounds great. Deep rumble without any drone on the highway.

I also added a dual tip which made it bellow just a touch, sounds great when you get on it but not obnoxious at all.

I added power locks with keyless entry/alarm for $75 to an old car. $5 power lock actuators w/install kit, and $55 for a viper alarm system, then about $5 for a few 12v relays, all ordered off amazon.

windows shouldn't take that much more, I'm sure there's kits that have motors which spin the crank arms for you.

edit: yep, something like this - https://smile.amazon.com/Biltek%C2%AE-COMPLETE-WINDOW-AUTOMATIC-SWITCHES/dp/B003XWG7R2/ref=smi_se_mit_rcol_smi_2537928482?_encoding=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0&pldnCmp=rcol&pldnCrt=my-impact

I got a hitch step for my 2013, there's two from "heininger" on Amazon. I got the normal one for $55 and it makes a perfect step up into the bed, and supports my weight just fine (about 300 lbs). It comes out just to the end of the tailgate when it's down, so you can't really use it as a step getting down though.

If you wanted it to come out a little bit further, and also be a step down, or if your climbing in the bed a lot and don't want to potentially hit your shin on the tailgate they also make an xl one that's a few inches longer, but costs twice as much.

Either way these steps are significantly cheaper than buying a tailgate with the step built in, and has come in handy more than I thought it would.

Stock LEDs cannot be modified without replacing the entire headlamp assembly, and then you're looking at spending a minimum of thousands for what is guaranteed to be anywhere from no improvement to a downgrade. OEM LED headlamps are not designed for you to take apart. They are almost all sealed from the factory and the idea is you should never have to mess with them because they should last the life of the car.

Stock halogens, yes! H11 to H9 swap. Take out the stock, crappy, long-life H11 bulbs in your 2018 F-150 and replace them with H9 bulbs. That will give you a 75% gain in source lumens for $8/bulb. You will have to modify the base of the H9 bulb a little bit, but it's simple, and guides are everywhere on the Internet (Google H11 -> H9).

I bought some of this and installed it on the running boards. Worked wonders for years now.

I would put some dielectric grease on all the connectors, it's fast and cheap. It's possible you just have bad connection from grim on them or corrosion over time and the new bulbs touching the contacts on a bit different part. That bad connection could have also made them fail prematurely too.

Can usually find at automotive places for a few bucks. Not sure why so expensive on amazon.ca....
