8gb is definitely possible. I've played it on my laptop with 8gb. More RAM doesn't make your computer faster, just allows it to multitask more efficiently.
I have a Lenovo Y700 but it's a few years old now (6700hq processor and 960m graphics card) and there were some strange things I had to work out when I first got it so I wouldn't recommend it now. While I do run kcd with a mix of settings from low to very high at around 40fps, I would definitely recommend something newer. My machine was about $1000 when I got it so you can probably find something for around the same money that's a bit better by today's standards. Just search around. Alienware is overpriced, Lenovo is cheap but they do strange software things. If I had to shop for a better one I would look at msi machines. They seem pretty respectable and their cheaper models are around $1000.
This one looks nice: https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GL62M-7REX-1896US-i7-7700HQ-Steelseries/dp/B074VLX5XV
Otherwise just Google gaming laptops under $1000. Jesus Christ be praised!
Lmao you don't need to hold the jump button that's silly lol
I usually keep my thumb rested on B and that's it.
Really though that PDP controller is a worthy investment. I got mine for like $30.

Then HDD is your bottleneck in your rig.
If you are on a budged (and have board with M2, which is implied by k processor), WD blue has best bang for buck value. You won't notice any difference IRL usage if you go for SATA variant, but prices are kind of on par.
SSDs are mainstream in midrange gaming rigs for at least 5 years and whoever build your rig deserves kick in the balls.
Black friday sales are around the corner or you can wish for nice christmas present.
Last recomendation: Don't go for anything below 1TB, most of new AAA games are over 100GB install so lower capacities are not worth the vicious hustle unless you have at least 1Gb fiber internet.

I bought this one and it's pretty damn good. Haven't had any problems with it and it's a beast of a laptop and should play KCD no problem and it has 16gb if ram like your friend wants. You can also add another hard drive if needed or change out ram very easily since it has little doors on the bottom to do so.
> Lenovo legion y520
This one? If so, then almost certainly, yes. You probably won't be maxing the graphics, but you should be able to run at least medium settings at 60 FPS. If the game is well optimized, then you may be able to run it at even higher settings.
Hmm, sounds good. Yea I was thinking about this one:

Should probably run it well enough
If you like sugarless energy drinks, this is my personal favorite:https://www.amazon.com/Rockstar-Zero-Energy-Drink-16-Ounce/dp/B000NGNEKY
Here you go. Cooling is a major issue indeed, so I opted for that on 1 1/2 year ago because of the great cooling system in that PC. If you are going to invest in a gaming laptop, buy one with a solid chunky build. I know it is not very sleek nor beautiful, but at least it will handle playing games over a long time.

that looks good. have you read a distant mirror?
I asked our historian (I am working at WH as QA tester), and here is some literature that might be of interest to you:

nah, I have this one , I5 7gen, 4gb vram, 8gb ram
Trump has a line of video games
I found these dice cups, these dice, and this dice tray. for you. Not sure if this works but that's the only analogue that I could think of.
Mine will get hot enough to throttle after a little while, which lowers FPS quite a bit. This laptop cooler I bought a while ago keeps it from ever throttling, and the FPS higher.
Theres a whole lot of materials on youtube (and probably on amazon too), just gotta search for the right keywords - Jan Huss / Hussites / Hussite Wars / Czech (or Bohemian) Reformation.
