Hoping you can help with something?
I have gone for the following set up (all OK I hope?!), but I am really unsure about the risers. Some say to go for powered risers, some not. Some say one powered riser is enough?! This is my first every rig and I'm a bit lost. Would you be able to explain which risers I should get and walk me through it?

I can appreciate how difficult it is for a new miner trying to wade through the mountains of information out there. I personally would prefer to source the parts myself rather than purchase a pre-assembled rig. The construction process is the most fun part in my opinion, and you learn a LOT simply by doing it yourself. For £1200 you should be able to put together something reasonably impressive.
If you are going to mine MaxCoin, I would recommend an NVIDIA rig as the Maxwell architecture on the GTX 750 TI and 780 TI cards is really good for keccak. Here are some component suggestions:
