Yo next time do the horizontal diamonds like on traction pads. That design has great grip. I’ve been testing out anti-slip pads and that’s my favorite pattern so far. Super grippy! Let us know how this one goes \^\^ 🤙🏽

Rolled mine into a lake a few months ago. Desiccant is your friend. You can get it on Amazon for cheap (I used this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DYKTS9C). Disassemble as much as you feel comfortable with, then put it in a garbage bag with a ton of desiccant for a few days.

Don't power it back on until you are sure it's dry.

With the provision that any tinkering with the wiring of the OW has the potential to break your board and void your warranty — yeah, this should be totally possible. The power button is just a momentary switch, so replacing it with something like this would let you start it up or turn it off with a key.

Personally I don’t think it would be worth the inconvenience of having to carry a key all the time. Easier to just lock it up.

No store near me had any kind of thread repair kit that was smaller than a sparkplug. So I ordered https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002KWFRHM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and chose to keep it SAE #10-32. So, effectively it will like factory except stainless steel rather than soft @$$ aluminum. FM really ought to be putting these inserts in at the factory!

Let's say we handle the "remove the battery" and "it's really 148Wh" issues; what case are people using to check it on a plane? Does https://www.amazon.com/SKB-3I-2617-12BE-Mil-Std-Waterproof-Wheels/dp/B00D6B0TFQ work, or is it over-sized? My pint is a couple weeks out (I voluntarily delayed shipping to accommodate my work schedule) but I bought it with the explicit intention of traveling in both US and EU. I hope to pull the trigger on a hardcase in the next couple weeks...

E-Z Lok 400-6 Threaded Insert, Brass, Knife Thread, 3/8"-16 Internal Threads, 0.625" Length (Pack of 10) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0026GZU0Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_xrhzDbXQKTEEM

These are far better than t nuts, granted I don't know if this is the right size. Search for knife treaded insert of the size you need.

For piece of mind without having to tear open the controller box you could easily run a bead of silicone along the seam from the outside. That stuff is primo for water-sealing and does not cause an adhesive seal so if you did need to open the controller it will not prevent you from doing so.

This cable I found on Amazon has the correct pin out. I don’t know if the 26 AWG is thick enough , but the price is 1/5 of the two-x item you posted. Has anyone had any experience with this cable? Two male to one female XLR cable

Doubtful.

I don't know the rules on posting links, this may get deleted, but at least you'll see it.

No shooting involved. Just something that helps you carry things and is quick to connect / disconnect.

I'd probably want a flush mount to attach, just that link shows what I'm talking about.

Someone posted a kryptonite lock that fits Link
I personally just bring it into whatever campus building I’m going into. It’s compact enough to find a spot for it that’s out of the way. I also wrapped the handle with some tennis racket overgrip to keep the handle from digging into my fingers. link

I go to the local Bike Shop to top off my tire and use this 10 dollar tire pressure gauge.

You need to use Threadlocker when you put any screw, nut or bolt into a machine that will experience vibration.

I used this vinyl wrap . It was my first attempt and it has some imperfections. It basically took the whole sheet to do the fender and rails. I will be wrapping it again after I destroy this one. I’m new to all of it so I’m still mastering the art of stopping. I like the idea of customization and what’s out there is still fairly limited . But I’ll be wrapping some rail guards next time and not the pint. Then either putting PPF or something over the vinyl to preserve the wrap.
