I have posted this before but here it is again.

To make a magical tea is fairly easy. The first thing we need to do it make the THC into a liquid.

For tea, milk is going to be your best bet. Use whole fat milk preferable, DO NOT USE FAT FREE MILK. THC is fat soluble, meaning you need fat to draw the THC out of the magical herbs.

What you will need:

1/2 cup of Milk

quarter (1/4) of an ounce(z) of weed (which is just over 7 grams)

A good grinder (or a clean coffee grinder that you use for NOTHING other then grinding weed) Good Ginder on amazon

A Strainer Strainer I use on amazon

A pot or pan (i'd give you an amazon link for this.... but i'm sure you can find a pot or pan on your own XD )

  1. Grind up the weed till it it nice and fine.
  2. Combine all of the weed and milk
  3. Heat the milk till hot on a stove top (DO NOT LET IT BOIL)
  4. Reduce the heat and let it stay rather warm for about an hour or so. (DO NOT TAKE A 420 BREAK!)
  5. Make a tea (black works/taste best) Optional: add sweeter of preference.
  6. Take milk off heat, and strain the weed from the milk. (this weed is now useless. All of the thc has been taken out so you can throw it away)
  7. Add three TABLESPOONS (or nine teaspoons) of milk to your tea. Mix well.
  8. OPTIONAL: Pour mixture into a clean pot and heat till the tea rises a little. This mixes it well. I am Indian and when we make Chai (a black tea with milk and spices) we do this. It blends the milk into the tea.

    Drink and enjoy.

    You're welcome

Personally I would go with a decent quartz banger. Those glass nails, like the one that comes with your piece, are prone to break - but it is still very usable.

With the piece you linked, you'll need a 14mm female. Here is a very basic article on glass joint sizes and male/female genders - edit: looking for a better reference.

The general rule of thumb for male and female joints is if it inserts INTO a glass joint it is a male - Think penis. If it slides OVER a glass joint it is a female - Think vagina.

For example, the glass dome (and the bowl) on the piece you linked is a female joint because it slides over the male joint (not pictured) on the downstem.

While Ti nails are perfectly fine, I prefer quartz. I think the flavor is better, but this is just my opinion. There are a lot of options out there for nails, try them out and find what suits your tastes.

You can get along just fine with a banger by itself but, to get the most out of it you should learn how to use a carb cap. There is a learning curve with everything but through trial and error you'll eventually get to MLG360no-dome globfather status in no time.

As far as domed vs domeless, the piece you linked comes with a glass dome, which you would need if you used just a regular nail insert such as the glass one that comes with your piece. Here is an example of a domeless Ti nail, and here is one similar to yours with a dome and Ti nail insert.

Notice how the domeless nail has a an opening, or channel, in the middle for the vapor to flow through as you inhale. You don't need a dome to capture the vapor with a domeless nail. This is really the difference between the two types as the standard nail insert is basically a solid dish with no airways on the surface.

There are many styles of domeless nails but hopefully this will give you a general idea about the differences between the two.

I should add that with a domeless nail, you won't need a dome, but you will want to learn how to use a carb cap. Also, as /u/snobord mentioned, the carb caps are going to be different depending on what type of nail you decide to use. If they don't match up or properly restrict airflow, the caps will not work as intended. So be sure to do your research before deciding to pull the trigger.

You'll also need a dabber or dab tool to apply your concentrates to your nail. Personally, I use a Ti dabber with a ball point tip because it makes it easier for me to collect my rosin after I press it. There are a lot of options for dabbers as well and really I think it comes down to personal preference.

edit:

>/u/snobord

>The type of your concentrate is going to affect the kind of dabber you want to use. The ball point wouldn't be ideal for crumble, for example. I personally bought a stainless steel wax carver set from Amazon so I'd have all the bases covered.

Finally, you're going to need some sort of storage container for your concentrates like a wax wallet or something similar. A quick google search should point you in the right direction.

edit:

>/u/snobord

>As for the silicone containers, bought 10ish (don't remember exactly) of them last year, used them one or twice and basically haven't touched them since. The main reason is I pick up from dispensaries and it comes prepackaged in half/one gram packs and the process of transferring it over isn't even worth the effort. This is definitely a matter of opinion though so my point is just that op should try it out before buying a bunch.

Several edits later: If I missed the mark on anything let me know. Op, hopefully if I wasn't able to answer your questions someone more experienced can chime in and get you on the right path.

Good luck, and happy dabbing!

If I had $50, and wanted to spend all of it, I'd go with a couple simple things!

  1. Grap a decent (like $20 decent) pipe at your local smoke shop. I ended up using mine for a while before I upgraded, but I love it all the same and still go back to it sometimes for the nostalgia!

  2. Grinders make it much easier to smoke joints or blunts! I got this one (http://www.amazon.com/Cali-Crusher-Grinder-Piece-Black/dp/B004VAZ0JQ/ref=sr_1_4?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1425339033&sr=1-4&keywords=grinder) and it hasn't let me down almost a year later! Perfect small size and theres plenty of room to store bud if your on the go!

  3. With a grinder you could pick up some papers with the rest of the money, but lets be real, you can just save it to buy more bud :D

Hopes this is a good start! PM me if you have any more questions and happy toking!

That one is by far my favorite. It's tiny so you can bring it anywhere and it always grinds everything perfectly, no matter how much you shove in.

I also got this one earlier, it's pretty good too and comes with two screen and a pollen press that's very useful. I pretty much just use it for storage and keef sifting because the two peaice grinds so much better (in general a two piece is going to grind much much better than one with extra chambers)

u/thejazzman63 · 3 pointsr/saplings

If I could tell my family I smoked and just had to worry about fixing the smell I’d just invest in getting a smell proof case and using mason jars to store my bud. There’s also reusable cleaner for bongs and water, like peace water, that keeps the bongs relatively clean. Keep your pieces clean and your mom happy. I can only dream of the day I can tell my parents.

Grunge Off Super Soaker Glass Pipe Cleaner, 16 Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002LURISY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_UPx6Cb3JT8HV9

I always put everything away as soon as I've finished, that way I know I'm not going to bump into it, knock it to the floor, etc.

Cleaning on a weekly basis is a good habit to get into, the alcohol and salt is pretty cheap compared to the chemical solutions that are sold that do exactly the same thing and get it no cleaner in the end. Don't forget to clean the bowl and stem. Purchase bottle brushes for the purpose and clean those off after use every week. It will keep your bong looking like new and make sure every different strain smoked tastes as it should.
Also stop by the tobacconist to purchase pipe cleaners, the ones with metal filaments in them, they do an excellent job of keeping those stems clean.

This is what the pipe cleaners I'm talking about look like. I usually cut them in half 'cause they're too long as is.

http://www.amazon.com/Bundles-Zen-Pipe-Cleaners-Bristle/dp/B000W5R6UA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1415465541&sr=8-2&keywords=pipe+cleaners

u/Death_has_relaxed_me · 2 pointsr/saplings

Well, you could just mouth hit it with a lighter and not inhale it. You know, until you stop tasting burnt cotton. Then just blow out all the burnt stuff.

Also, if you REALLY wanna clean it out...

Your best bet for wood is probably going to be pipe cleaners. They were originally created for cleaning wooden and clay pipes. This with a light alcohol/water mix (probably 30alcohol/70water) and a nice drying overnight should have you in ship shape.

Hope this helps.

u/Badagaboosh · 6 pointsr/saplings

Top comment says 4 piece grinder, but especially if you have a vape I'd definitely recommend a 5 piece. You get very finely ground stuff, which I've found can really only be appreciated with a vape.

u/SirSmokesAlotT2 · 3 pointsr/saplings

What do you mean by "getting it out"? Most grinders are 3 or 4 piece. Put nugs in top, put top on and spin, and falls through the holes into the next layer. If you have a 4 piece its a screen that allows keif to collect in the bottom layer. Good 4 piece grinders can be pretty inexpensive.

Edit: heres one like mine. Get a genuine Chromium Crusher(they have knock offs so check the spelling on the top in the picture) for 10 bucks or so and itll do you right

u/ENTernetExplorer · 1 pointr/saplings

In order to get the best bang for your buck, I highly recommend getting a dedicated herb grinder. Something like this, while it may be a tad bit expensive, is definitely worth it. Most cheap grinders are made from plastic, wood, or aluminum, have only a single chamber, and are very low quality generally.
There are also concerns with plastic or aluminum grinders of the possibility of getting shavings or particles into your bud. This can be very unhealthy.
Another reason to get a high-quality grinder is that many of them come with multiple chambers, many also include mesh screens to use for getting kief.

u/Pumhole · 2 pointsr/saplings

The Smart Crusher is very good for the price. Nice and compact and grinds brilliantly.

u/Captinfucker · 2 pointsr/saplings

This is my favorite, of the one's I've used. It's small enough to fit in a pocket easily, it grinds to the perfect level, and can go through anything. It's preformed the same as any sharpstone/whatever expensive grinders I've tried. I assume the 4 piece by the same company preforms the same, I just don't really care for saving keef.

The other one I have is like this. I can't find the exact grinder because the seller updated the listing to this one, but it was basically the same thing I think. 5 piece (I take out one of the screens and keep it as backup), really big, with lots of storage space. Doesn't grind too fine unless you hold it upside down, but when you do it works just like any two piece. Lots of storage for ground up buds / keef, just don't expect to carry it around unless you have a winter coat or something.

u/TheMundaneMusician · 2 pointsr/saplings

I would say spend some extra cash and get a really nice quality grinder. Yes, its expensive, but think of it as an investment. I dropped $60 on one a while back and I don't think I'll ever need another one (unless, of course, I lose this one). I love compton grinders, and santa cruz shredders are also very popular and seem to be good quality. However if you are sent on a $30 limit I would suggest a sharpstone or a cali crusher.

u/citysex · 1 pointr/saplings

I like this Instapark on Amazon ($15). It works well and comes in different sizes if you think 1.5" might not be enough for you. Make sure to thoroughly wash your new grinder, regardless of the brand, before use.

u/MegaDeathjesus · 2 pointsr/saplings

I keep my herb in an old mason jar, and I put that jar and everything else (weed, grinder, bowl etc.) in an old black box I found.

Recently I ordered this, my buddy has one and it fits all his stuff with room to spare and its vacuum sealed which is pretty sweet.

u/ishitwashingmachines · 4 pointsr/saplings

Just go with a small 4 piece like this chromium crusher. I've had a few grinders and this one is by far my favorite. [8]

u/tiffums · 2 pointsr/saplings

Here's Door #1 and Door #2 for affordable, r/trees approved grinders that come complete with keif catchers and pollen presses. Including shipping, #1 is under $40 and #2 is just over $20. There are several great grinders available inexpensively now, so don't be one of those crazy people spending $70 on a grinder unless you really have nothing better to do with your cash.

u/Coltonamos · 3 pointsr/saplings

Oh man. $150 for a starter kit. I'll tell you what I would get with $150

  • Spoon bowl $24.50
  • Screens $3.49
  • Lighers $14.99
  • Grinder $6.33
  • Papers$2.30

Total for all that is $51.61

Buy an 8th for around $45 so you now have $53.40 left. Let's assume you spent $20 on shipping costs so you have $33.40 left to spend on whatever else you want. Get a better pipe or more weed with the remainder
u/snobord · 2 pointsr/saplings

This is probably the best summary of this topic I've ever seen, professional articles included. I would only add one point and possibly disagree with another.

The type of your concentrate is going to affect the kind of dabber you want to use. The ball point wouldn't be ideal for crumble, for example. I personally bought a stainless steel wax carver set from Amazon so I'd have all the bases covered.

As for the silicone containers, bought 10ish (don't remember exactly) of them last year, used them one or twice and basically haven't touched them since. The main reason is I pick up from dispensaries and it comes prepackaged in half/one gram packs and the process of transferring it over isn't even worth the effort. This is definitely a matter of opinion though so my point is just that op should try it out before buying a bunch.

u/MartialLol · 1 pointr/saplings

For storage, consider one of these. I ordered one last week and it's large enough to hold a 4-piece grinder, an average-sized sherlock pipe, and a 1-pint stash jar with room to spare (EDIT: I just checked, and I can easily fit my MFLB with the charger and batteries, some lighters, a pack of papers, a hemp wick, and probably a few more bits of paraphernalia). I haven't used it long enough to give a legit review, but it will say that it doesn't seem to smell. If it works as advertised, though, it should also extend the life of your trees; I just don't have any evidence for that. Yet.

u/eleventy-four · 1 pointr/saplings

I would suggest this it comfortably holds a cheap lighter, papers, a two-piece grinder and some weed and is way less messy than the shampoo bottle suggestion. Wrap it in socks or something to prevent it from appearing during a casual rifle through your luggage that your family might do. Handle it carefully to prevent the scent transferring from the weed, to your hands, to the external parts of the box. Even though it can hold all that I would still suggest pre-rolling as it's such a short trip. You never know when such a container could come in handy though.

u/Kingxex · 1 pointr/saplings

I'm a bit late on this, but any of these are amazing:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000UMG3MM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I throw all my stinky weed in this and you can't smell it even if you hang from the ceiling.

u/TheRedStoner · 1 pointr/saplings

Here is a nice 2 piece grinder. Or if you want to get a 4 piece, this one is fairly cheap. I would avoid 3 piece grinders though. They are beyond pointless

u/U_Breathing_Manually · 1 pointr/saplings

Before you buy your bud the grower dries and cures it for weeks, so there is very little water in the bud, so you'll be fine.

Also I would suggest buying a pelican case (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001CNNEXE/ref=mp_s_a_1_9?qid=1427606139&sr=8-9&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&keywords=pelican+case) to store your bud, lighter and papers and stuff, they're completely airtight so your mom won't smell it

u/ENTlightened · 2 pointsr/saplings

At first I was like, "Nigga you high," but then I googled it. Fuck grinders, I'm getting one.

u/terkistan · 2 pointsr/saplings

Cheapest option right now is this 11"x7"x4" Plano waterproof case which went on sale yesterdaay at Amazon for $17, down from $25. Place the bud in any small container/baggie and the case itself will keep things smell-proof.

Otherwise get a plastic ammo-style box (like this $5 one, which isn't waterproof or smell-proof) and put your bud in a small 4oz mason jelly jar (or 8oz) with a plastic cap. That jar is smell-proof, but you can't really find affordable individual jars - they usually sell in a 12-count for $8, and plastic lids usually come in an 8-pack for $8-$11.

u/usernamehardlyknower · 2 pointsr/saplings

You need a medtainer.

Air tight, built in grinder.

Edit: on second thought that's more for carry if it's just to store at home get a pack of mason jars.

In another response to another commenter here I asked OP to post again in the sub I moderate, r/drugtesthelp because our sole purpose is to answer these kinds of questions.

Myself nor anybody else on that sub including the other mods have ever mentioned this product, if it was a viable option I’m sure we would’ve recommended it at least once.

Amazon reviews mean .. what exactly? Lol. I’m the chucklefuck though. Majority of the reviews and answers to questions there state the product does not work. So... not sure what you’re trying to prove there either.

Hair tests are by far the hardest to pass, and I doubt the product you’re pushing for OP to use works.

Edit: https://www.amazon.com/ask/questions/asin/B00KJS9TTQ/ref=ask_mdp_dpmw_ql_hza?isAnswered=true#top

Multiple people saying “don’t trust this product” “this product did not work for me” “this product does not work.”

Like the guy who claimed bleaching his hair made him pass a test (that doesn’t work either, multiple bleaching attempts MIGHT but that’s a hit and miss.) You are wrong.

u/kevmomo · 4 pointsr/saplings
  1. You may have not lit the joint properly. Try holding the flame to the joint and puff lightly in and out quickly. You should see the joint burst in to flame and be quickly extinguished. By doing this 2-3 times, you ensure that the entire end of the joint is heated until it burns, instead of just the paper. Watch Wiz do it. Unlike normal tobacco cigarettes that light almost instantly, all green joints are much harder to light and stay lit, so you really need to make sure you get a good initial burn it it.

  2. The joint is rolled too tight. Loosen up your rolls. I don't know your method of rolling, but normally just a few light taps is enough to pack the weed.

  3. Either you have bad weed or bad papers. I wouldn't put too much blame to this though as its only a minor contributing factor, although it is a possibility. Try grinding your weed finer to produce a more even burn. If you have a four-chamber grinder, just turn it upside down and really cut that dank up. In a rare occasion, the weed may have not been cured properly, meaning it has too much moisture and is too sticky to burn smoothly. As for your papers, zig-zags are fine; many people enjoy using them. If you don't like them, keep in mind they are wood-pulp based papers. You may want to switch to hemp or rice based papers like RAWs or Elements.
u/4gotn1 · 3 pointsr/saplings

Wth, no do not use a metal screen in a glass pipe. If you are going to get screens, do it properly please.

FFS, you must've missed this part:

'The uniqueness of Ultra Clean Shampoo to pass a hair drug test rests in the way in keeps the drugs in your hair from being detected by the hair drug test.

As a review, the hair drug test is able to detect drugs in your hair by cutting your hair sample into very small pieces to expose as much of the cortex in as many hair follicles as possible. These hair follicles are then exposed to a special solvent that in effect dissolves the cortex leaving the drug metabolites in suspension within this solvent.

The suspension is then spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the suspension and the associated metabolites. A special test is then applied to that concentrated suspension and the results are established.

[...] Ultra Clean Shampoo attacks the problem in an entirely different way. Most hair shampoos try to avoid the hair drug test from accessing the drug metabolites by removing them from the hair follicle before your test. Even if they are able to remove some metabolites, a great number still remain for the hair drug test to detect.

The second part of the Ultra Clean Shampoo program is a very unique sealer. This sealer not only is very pliable for a period of time, it is also very resistant to the solvent used by the hair drug test.

When the tester cuts your hair sample into very small pieces the sealer on your hair follicle seals the ends of each shaft where and when it was cut. It creates hundreds of small entirely sealed capsules.

When the tester places these small sealed capsules in the solvent it can not remove the drug metabolites from the hair. The result is there are very few drug metabolites for the hair test to detect. You will always test clean.

To be fair, the Ultra Clean Shampoo can not seal each hair follicle piece on both ends. Some make it through. However, the cut off point for the drug metabolite presence is far higher than the concentration of these few metabolites that make it through the sealing process. You always test clean."

Here's the thing, I'm offering a solution to the motherfucking problem rather than sit with my thumbs up my ass and say "That won't work, hurr-hurr-hurr."

Assuming OP does what's known as "due diligence" (s)he would find a 3-star review of the product on Amazon.

But no, let's listen to you the all-knowing chucklefuck who's not helping ...
