I have it on my Rift S cables. I did the same on my Vive OG when it was wired. It helps keep from tangling and gives some protection from stepping on it. Makes it easier to kick out of the way too.
I don't run it all the way to the headset to keep the weight of what you have pulling on your head down. I start the end of it about where it touches the ground and goes to the end of where the connectors are. I use electrical tape wrapped around each end to tighten it to the cable. Don't forget to melt the ends with a lighter if you cut it.

no instructions... just a package with a sleeve thats about half the width of my pinky nail.
i'll watch the video but i cant see how in HELL i could get both of these wires thru that.
Does anyone have any suggestions for sleeving for whips/silicone tubing? I was using braided nylon but would actually like something softer.
