Most cases only protect the sides/body of the watch. You should get a screen protector and maybe a case too if you're worried about the sides/body.

Great case, but it's bulky. It has a raised edge that MIGHT protect the screen a little, but I don't trust it so I still use a screen protector.

Had this one for a few months and they're great. They snap on easily and are tight and secure. Made of hard plastic type material.

I wanted one that was gray to match my space gray watch better. They are really form fitting and thin and barely stick out from the watch at all. Made of rubbery TPU material.

I'm a nurse and want to wear mine at work. I just got my Apple Watch Sport and I'm worried about scratching it by bumping it on someone's bed rail or something, so I ordered a screen protector from Amazon and also some bumpers for the face to change up the color and add some protection from scuffs. I also got apple care. I may be being too cautious, but I rarely spend $350 on an accessory so you're damn right I'm gonna baby it!

Edit: This is the screen protector I ordered. I haven't received it yet but it offers edge to edge protection and seemed to have mostly positive reviews.

These are the bumpers I got. I thought they'd add a little extra protection and plus it'll be fun to switch up the colors and match them with different bands.

I got the 38mm LTE series 3 in silver aluminum with applecare. I put a screen protector and case on regardless of which model because they all scratch. If you’re concerned about shattering from impact or bumps then definitely go with the aluminum and save some cash.

Although you may want a more protective case. These snap on and can come off with enough of a bump.
