I've been shooting pistols for a few years now and am just now getting the rifle bug. Over Christmas it just hit me... I don't have a 10/22! I wasn't having any of that; and wanting to have a little fun with it, I came up with this.

Here's what it is:

Ruger 10/22 "All Weather" Carbine

Archangel 556 Rifle Stock

UTG Tactical OP Bipod

AccuShot Scope Rings

BARSKA 3-9x32 Plinker-22 Riflescope

I got to sight it in this morning! Nice and accurate as you should expect from a 10/22. Ran subsonic ammo through it and it was nice a quite. I really like the Barska scope too... it did great on its lowest 3X setting. When I have more time I'll see how it does at long range.

Edit* Also Ruger BX-25 mag

I used these rings.

Works great on my 10/22. I've not have a long usage time frame. I've been to the range three times, and I've had no issues yet

Here is what I have:

Ill take off the scope and re-mount it, see if that helps I suppose. I sure hope the recoil isn't the issue since that is specifically what the scope is designed for. And it shouldn't be a flinch either with the gun in a vise. Additionally, I shot my buddies gun which was dialed in and hit right where I wanted it to.

Either way, ill try re-mounting and some new ammo.. otherwise, deer season is right around the corner here in Iowa (December). I might have to just put on my smooth bore and shoot some rifled slugs if I don't get it dialed in before the start of the season.

Album to show it here. It's these rings that I'm using.

I've got a rail riser that works great but I took things apart and set up stuff to show the issue in the pic. I haven't gotten a chance to level it all out correctly and get the scope locked in, but it's on the to-do list for the next couple days.

Ok.. Decided on the cheap scope and bought the weaver 24 rails.
This is the scope

I thought I didn't need to buy rings, but I guess the scope comes with the wrong type of rings.

So now I'm looking at rings like these:

I'm not sure if I need high medium or low. Advice?
