The cable was on sale at the time I got it but they do offer a cheaper model of this cable starting at $15.99. The combation has been fantastic and charges all my devices extremely fast. I was surprised how fast it charges my iPad Pro 10.5”. I find this one useful since I can charge my iPhone and Apple Watch together or any other pair of devices with ease and the charger itself is very small for what it offers.

Currently, our chargers have 3x kind of charging technologies. One is Power IQ technology (with an icon ""IQ"" on the charger) which can work well with non-PD/QC-enabled devices like iPhone 5/6/7. One is Quick Charge technology (with an icon ""QC"" on the charger) which can support quick charge for QC-enabled devices like Samsung s6/s7. While the other one is Power Delivery technology (with an icon ""PD"" on the charger) which can support fast charge for PD-enabled devices like iPhone X or your Goold Pixel 2 XL.

Thus, in order to ensure that we will choose the proper charger for one device, we need to know what the charging technology it uses, then choose the charger which has the same technology. From my explanation above, ""IQ"" means Power IQ, so the IQ ports can work with your devices but can neither support quick charge for QC-enabled devices like your Tablet S3 nor PD-enabled devices like your Pixel 2 XL.
