Hey there!

My name is Bryce and I work for TrainerRoad.

I personally train with the 935 and you can absolutely pair it to your TrainerRoad app, albeit only via ANT+.

To get your watch to re-broadcast HR via ANT+, go:
Settings->Sensors and Accessories->Wrist Heart Rate->Broadcast HR

Now, your iPhone 7 does not have ANT+ built in sadly, so you will need to acquire a Wahoo ANT+ Key and Lightning to 30 pin adapter. These do not come cheap, however, and you may well be better off buying a Bluetooth Compatible Chest Strap, but I will leave that decision up to you. Here are the pieces you will need to get ANT+ up and running on your phone:

From what Ive read, it’s a very common problem for most older model G owners! Some people say it’s the cable that was provided with the car, the adapter being used for your phone, etc.

What kind of adapter do you use if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve tried two different manufacturers for this and I read that this is supposed to allow you to charge and play at the same time as opposed to this which I’ve been using right now that only enables me to play music. :(
