You might want to consider this band here. Overall, you should be fine, but I know my concern on being a little rough with the watch has gone away since I purchased this band.

I’m going to recommend the Apple Watch.

I’m a truck driver and use mine pretty well consistently. Works amazing for everything you listed. I even use mine to track my sleep patterns and how well I sleep at night.

I typically charge it for a bit during the day. It stays up around 2 daysish. Depending on how much I use it

I use a 38 because when I bought mine the store didn’t have any 42. But it’s a decent size.

This band protects the face fairly well. I do work with my watch on so I wanted it to have a bit of protection if something came in on it.

Does that work?

I would imagine many options are 42mm only, as I would guess the market for people with 38mm that want a “tactical” band is fairly small.
