Rave: well I've come full circle. I started out using only this aloe vera gel as a moisturizer. It really improved my skin but I decided I should get a "real" moisturizer. So I started a several months long journey in which I discovered that almost no moisturizers work on me. So now I'm back to using just aloe during the day and my skin is looking a lot better.

Wtf dude, that is a burn. How did the lady waxing you manage to fuck it up so bad? Put some pure liquid aloe vera in the fridge to cool it and apply a cool compress of it for a few days. In the night moisturize with vitamin e oil to prevent scarring.

Your hair reminds me of mine! I have some product recommendations.

I recommend sticking to sulfate free shampoos and silicone free conditioners.

Moisturize like crazy! Do a deep conditioning treatment weekly or every 2 weeks. I recommend Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque. Adding olive oil is a good idea, too, as recommended on the packaging.

Find a really moisturizing conditioner. I love Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose from Whole Foods. Lots of curlies swear by Sally Beauty Supply's version of Paul Mitchell's The Conditioner from Sally.

Use a good leave-in. I recommend Kinky Curly Knot Today or As I Am's Leave-in. Apply a palmful of this on soaking wet hair after washing.

To reduce frizz, I apply 100% aloe vera at this point: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00013YZ0C?pc_redir=1396656283&robot_redir=1

Then use your styling product! I've been using a TINY bit of Kinky Curly Curling Custard. I like my curls to stay soft and big so I only use like a dime-sized amount. If you use too much you may end up with some crunch or stickiness.

Good luck! This is just a starting point to give you an idea of what to look for. Trial and error is the way to do it. Pick up some products and get to it!

What helped me a ton is watching tutorials on YouTube. Check out Waterlily716, HeyFranHey, SunkissAlba and Naptural85, for starters!

Question! So right now my routine is oil cleanse, regular cleanse, Hada Labo lotion, Kate Somerville serum, Dr. Jart Cream. I want to incorporate this Aloe into my routine but I don't know when to put it! I also don't know when to put my Differin cream on my chin... any suggestions? Thank you! Also, I've been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis/eczema. Anyone have this problem/know any good products for it? Thanks! :)

Have you tried pure Aloe to help soothe it? I reached out to ScA when I was having a bad skin reaction to a medication and they recommended using that to help.

Here's the amazon link to the product I purchased.

I hope you feel better soon!
