Right? The technology isn't expensive. It seemingly just needs to be licensed.

This is the Azio I mentioned: http://www.amazon.com/Azio-Micro-Bluetooth-Adapter-BTD-V401/dp/B00JAZGSXY

It has all the bells and whistles, BT 4.0 and AptX as well (which your LG is compatible with) so you're getting higher bitrate audio with this than you would be with your standard BT implementation.

I don't believe there's any way to add LDAC capability to devices at this time.

However, you should be able to utilize aptX/aptX-HD with a capable adapter. I'll admit it's lower bit-rate and therefore quality compared to LDAC, but it's likely the best solution you'll find for hifi wireless audio on most devices.

These with this DIYed to the top of the headband and this plugged into your PC.

Then pick up a Blue Snowball and boom! A headset replacement that actually sounds good.

Dualshock 4 is larger than Dualshock 3. pic

Comparing the DS4 side by side with my 360 controller, its about the same size. Only difference is you get a much better grip with the DS4.

btw you don't need an adapter like that. You either PC needs built in bluetooth or a simple dongle.

AFAIK none of Intels adapters support apt-x. It would work but apt-x is a big improvement in sound quality over standard bluetooth audio.

You'd just need an inexpensive dongle like this one. Any that specifically state support for apt-x will work.

Bluetooth doesn't use all of the bandwidth of USB2, let alone USB3. Any hub would be fine.

I see the issue, on the bottom of the amazon page it specifically says that usb nub does not support aptx. Most do. So you've got increased latency because of that.
I think this one should work, it doesn't say it has aptx, but a reviewr says it does.

try this one,

It will use the DAC in the receiver. However that's not the whole story when it comes to Bluetooth. If your laptop doesn't support high bitrate SBC, AAC or aptX, the audio quality won't be very good.

If your receiver supports aptX (check the manual) you can get the Azio Micro BT adapter for $15.

I have these headphones and I am in love with them: https://smile.amazon.com/MEE-audio-Bluetooth-Wireless-Headphones/dp/B00DOP3NPW

He'll need a bluetooth adapter for his pc like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JAZGSXY

I found this one locally for $15 CAD -

https://www.amazon.ca/AZiO-Micro-Bluetooth-Adapter-BTD-V401/dp/B00JAZGSXY

Working flawlessly, even plugged right into the computer (though I moved it onto an extension cable eventually just to be safe.)

Bonus AptX support in case I ever want to pair low latency headphones to watch media or maybe even for gaming.

Amazon says "up to 33 feet" but it's actually a class 1 adapter - meaning its maximum output power is 40x most other adapters, and (with another class 1 device) its max range is 330' (the packaging claims 85' if I recall)

you wont be able to use the macs bluetooth you'd need a hardware bluetooth receiver plugged into the 1/8" jack.

you need all aptX compatible bluetooth equipment to avoid a delay.

http://www.amazon.com/Azio-Micro-Bluetooth-Adapter-BTD-V401/dp/B00JAZGSXY/

for the PC side.

http://www.amazon.com/Brightech-BrightPlay-Functionality-Non-Bluetooth-Simultaneously/dp/B00E3FHXYO/ref=pd_cp_pc_3

for the mac side into the mac's 1/8" jack.

you wont be able to do this directly without these little boxes because the mac does not receive audio through its internal bluetooth only sends.

Need help: Bluetooth headphone audio delay and aptx codec question.

Hi, I recently bought the Bose QC35 headphones. The purpose is to listen to music, watch movies, and play games with them.

Using them while listening to music is fine, no problems. Watching movies, there is a slight delay in audio, which I could easily "fix" by adjusting audio sync in the video player.

However, while playing games the delay (about 200ish ms) is intolerable.

I read up a bit and found out that in order for bluetooth headphones to experience very little audio delay so that gaming is acceptable, it needs to be headphones that support aptx codec, and the bluetooth receiver also needs to support it.

My Bose QC 35 does not support aptx. It seems that the Sony 1000x does support aptx. Also, this bluetooth receiver also seems to support it: https://www.amazon.com/Azio-Micro-Bluetooth-Adapter-BTD-V401/dp/B00JAZGSXY

So, my question is: If I use the Sony 1000x and the above bluetooth dongle, would I be able to watch movies and play games without the horrid audio delay?

picked up this controller when it was on sale a couple months ago to replace using a 360 controller w/360 wireless PC adapter. I paired it with an old BT dongle I had sitting around, and it works great! The main difference I've noticed, is I can't navigate in Kodi with it like I could the 360 controller (to fire up the Steam-launcher addon on a living room PC)
