It is not. 480p DVD is the best available version. Amazon Prime has it streaming, but its a low-quality transfer with some strange cropping and color grading.

I can't say I know, but I am just assuming they are cheaper packaging than the original. I have all the originals and they are a normal box set. These seem to be more compact. If you would like to spend more there is always and option out there for you.

Not that I've seen, but there are a few repackaged DVD sets here.

They havent even released Deep Space Nine on Blu-Ray yet, although they have that whole show on Amazon Prime. I love watching both shows and comparing, I think B5 is more mythical while DS9 was more like watching WW-II movies. It would be great if they had B5 on Prime as well. B5 did Aliens much better, depicting them with their cultural differences. Gem'Hadar vs Shadows - Shadows are much creepier. But Trek had all the great Miniature and Model work, while B5 depended on Digital Animation, which of course they did very well.

The DVD's are a little pricey but well worth it. I can't find the version that I have anywhere but it has great commentaries that you can't find online - including one of the last thing ever recorded by Richard Biggs (Dr. Franklin).

Don't they have it on Hulu?
