you lifted pads on the GBA or the ribbon cable?

if its the ribbon cable i wouldnt mess with it and just leave it at stock brightness (i usually play on this setting anyways)

if its the GBA there are more spots you can solder too but id have to double check with a multi meter and get back to you so i don't give you the wrong locations
