They created the crush because psychologically they know it appeals to the touch and taste senses and it's "satisfying" in the moment. And unhealthy. These candies both can be crushed with your mouth and have a minty taste so every time you feel inclined to that sensation, you can have a candy. An idea to help wean off of smoking.
