I hid the wire between the headliner and the roof, also used these to keep the wire out of the way from the plug-in.

Could even use rubber cable organizers.....idk how to link to text on mobile

Definitely recommend a mouse bungee. I personally use of these and place it at the back of my desk. I mostly use it to avoid any drag or friction from the desk to the cable.

No problem.

The wire on the g403 seems to be a braided cable so it’s not good news. However there have been instances of batches of G502 mice have bad cables, so it may just be your model, but there’s no way to be sure.

However like I said before there are many Logitech mice with the exact same shape. So you can go wireless if you’d like with the g603/g703. From what your issue I’d say you could remedy the cable drag with a mouse bungee or some cable clips.

There's a ton of companies who sell mouse bungees and usually they're pretty good. Though I'd recommend you check out reviews first since some are too lightweight or gimmicky. I personally use the Zowie camade if you got questions.

Alternatives :
I've seen people use clips like this in place of a mouse bungee: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Clips-Management-Nightstand-Accessories/dp/B00NVKHLP8

Or you can just get a generic brandless bungee which people have said are fine : https://www.amazon.com/Generic-Mouse-Bungee-Management-Holder/dp/B01ASXL0PW

If you don't want a mouse bungee to be to big or noticeable you could also use something like this : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G1WD13M

I know what you are referencing but don't want to search for the post. These are the clip/hook things being used though: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Clips-Management-Nightstand-Accessories/dp/B00NVKHLP8/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=cable+clips&qid=1566594164&s=gateway&sr=8-1

Nice battlestation! Some tips I would recommend with this desk are cable trays, more cable clips, and a cable sleeve. I found that these cable clips are pretty good for guiding cables down the legs but aren't that great for holding cables under the desk. For an even cleaner look buy some extension cables and velcro ties and put that tower on a night stand, drawer, or cabinet (more desk space).

Ah see what you mean.

At first I was going to recommend a usb hub or port replicator but I dont think that would really solve anything. I think your best bet for managing your cables would be to use cable organizers. It should neaten up your desk a bit.

Perhaps use one of these up top and on the sides of your desk.

Then on the bottom for any excess you can try these cablox things. They are a bit pricey so, if you want to go the budget route, you can always use the adhesive squares along with zip ties to mount the cables under your desk.

Hope that helps a bit. Good luck.

Lure it away with clips...

*This got me thinking, there should be a r/cordmanagement. My place is a shitshow of cables and need inspiration...

Are cheap and work well.

I don't think they have a specific name. If you search for cable management on AliExpress (or similar sites) these always came up when I tried. Found them using the same method on Amazon, though I had to scroll a bit further. https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Clips-Management-Nightstand-Accessories/dp/B00NVKHLP8/ref=zg_bs_11042051_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=MGT20QBPQNS35116TYYW

u/pterencephalon · 1 pointr/battlestations

Maybe this kind of thing? Or a coiled cable? But no one uses coiled cables on here.

Cable clips from Amazon then. Mount power strip to wall or back of desk. That don't work, you might want to look into getting a new desk haha. I mounted mine with command strips.
