You could always put these guys on the switch:

It keeps the light switch in the on position, if you need to turn it off you just unscrew the lock off the faceplate and turn it off.
Here's the cheap workaround: https://www.amazon.com/Clear-Switch-Light-National-Mfg/dp/B00O6WYE1E
You could always go the pop button route and use a light switch cover like one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Amerelle-SG1-Switch-Guard-White/dp/B000NCV1SK/ref=pd_sim_75_2/131-1612548-3818927?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=HMXFP98TV7Y6YRZAKCSC

I just locked my physical switches into the ON position using these position locks
Seems excessive...

I put switch locks on the light switches that need to stay on. Like these.
I just installed these at my house:

I got [these] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O6WYE1E/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) because I had parents that kept shutting the switches off without thinking
I combat this with two ways, because my cleaning people always are turning off the lights. Basically I have a smart lights routine that runs that looks at the switch, which are GE smart switches, that anytime the switch is turned off, it turns it back on. So the logic looks like this:
What Device: Kitchen Light Switch
What do you want to do? Turn on
How do you want to trigger? Switch turned on or off
Turn on lights when: Turned off
This creates a nice little infinite loop for smart light switches.
My second solution is this is rooms where I don't have smart switches: Clear Switch Lock for Light Switch 4/pack by National Mfg. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O6WYE1E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ZFJ7Bb2V7TBH8
Both solutions work well in different applications for the same purpose but the first listed would be your expressed concern.
Are you in the USA? I use these.

Or if you want to prevent the switch from being toggled, use something like this
