When charged, in one of these (I have two controllers so two stands):
(The one on the left is always used first and then when charging, the one on the right takes its place. I do this to keep track of battery usage and minimize the chances of a battery dying on me when I swap out mid-gaming):

get something like this and a couple of these for the controllers and it becomes a really awesome setup. Well, it's already awesome, just needs some tidying up.

Not the same one, but I have one I got off Amazon. They make them in white too, as well as Dualshock 4 and Xbox 360 versions

I think one of these would be mountable in a similar way to what you have in your picture. It's not exactly the same as it would take up a little more shelf space, but it would be similar.
