custom means nothing. smearing shit all over the bike is ‘custom’ but do you want that? ignore custom, and look for craftsmanship and quality. for example the headlight brackets on the front are some cheap chinese crap off ebay. or the cable organizer.or the license plate bracket . that says cheap and corner cutting. if that’s the case, the price should reflect it. although I dont believe such an awesome, iconic bike deserves these subpar parts.

I bought a Vive Link Box to use as a signal/power booster in the middle, and it works great. This cured all my dropouts and audio glitches, as well as giving my system a Bluetooth radio.

This setup works great:

1. Vive Link Box
   
2. Vive Link Box Power Supply
   
3. 12 ft Power cable extension for Vive Link Box
   
4. 10 ft USB 3.0 extension cable
   
5. 10 ft Amazon Basics HDMI cable
   
6. Wire wrap to keep everything tidy
   
   Make sure you power cycle the Vive Link Box whenever you plug or unplug anything into it to for it to reinitialize and detect the headset.
   
   I really wish there was a more elegant solution, but so far this works the best for me.

Here you go pal. Wrap your cords in poly to protect it. Choose preferred size. It's very cheap and comes with plenty to get the job done.

I got all that from a comment that I can't find from a thread months back. The commenter also suggested Wire Wrap which I also use and has worked well. It did take forever to get it on, though, and there was a lot leftover.

Also, other people here have mentioned having to turn off the Vive Link to get it working, I just unplug the Power Supply Adapter from the Vive Link every time I'm done with it and that seems to work. I also disconnect the HDMI/USB/Power Supply Adapter from the computer, the Odyssey+ and the power supply as well when I'm done, instead of leaving anything plugged in.

I like stuff like this, but you could go with anything really.

If you want to pretty up the wiring a little bit you can use this wire-wrap:

It has the benefit of being able to spiral around your wires in-place instead of needing to slip over a severed wire. If it's not the exact same stuff that's on the extruder wires it's pretty dang close.

Spiral cable wrap. You can find it all over the place. Home Depot, MicroCenter, and Amazon for example. Out of curiosity I looked it up on Amazon and it's not too expensive. I opted for 1/4in(6mm) personally. You can measure your bundle to see what all you need. I'd offer, but I have a lot of aftermarket stuff so my diameter will be off from stock.

For your TV or a lot of your cables in general, get some cheap cable wrap like the kind linked below. You'd be surprised how much cleaner a single bundled wire looks. Here's my
Desk. Didn't want to cut a another hole to run the wires and the cords weren't long enough to go through the exciting one for the tv. This was only going to be temporary by it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would.
