I have two gaming mice that I switch to and from occasionally.

Corsair M65 is my go-to, though it only has two programmable buttons. It's very good for shooters but also feels sturdy in the hand, and has weights on the bottom that you can adjust as needed. I also like using the low-DPI "sniper" button to be more accurate with my pointer, but this is something you can likely do on the other mice as well.

Logitech G602 is my backup mouse that I primarily use with my laptop. It has several programmable buttons on the side as well as a customizable DPI (like the M65) and it feels very nice in the hand.

Both of these are great mice but they still might not suit you. A friend of mine has a Corsair Scimitar RGB mouse with 12 programmable side-buttons and he swears by it. He also frequently plays MMOs, and I do not. So maybe that one would be better for you.

You may also want to check out this thread. It's a year old, but has some good suggestions too.

I found it on amazon https://amzn.com/B019OQJ9XE but it's $71 and I paid like $55 for mine so I'm happy with the deal I got even though its not all black

I guess I have a reason to buy this mouse now!

Razer has bad build quality. They have this little ring on the bottom of the mouse that is GLUED to the bottom. This eventually starts leaking glue and sliding around.

I actually went with this corsair. The bottom is one solid piece and it has a metal bezel around the optics.

you can also move the buttons around on the side of the mouse then tighten them down in the ideal spot for your thumb. Been using it a while..its PERF

I have a corsair scimitar rgb currently, first mmo mouse after using a razer naga for years. Razer suffers the horrific double click disease as well now. The scimitar has its issues, mainly it needs to be programmed right in the software for the thumb buttons to work. but other then that I've had it for over a year and it still looks brand new and thats with pretty heavy use. I'm so usued to the 1-12 keys that its second nature and feel pretty much useless with a regular mouse now.
