I considered adding my favorite sleep app to the list, but wasn't sure if it applied to everyone with ADHD or not. I'll add it above.
The one I use is for Android phones and it's called Sleep as Android. It has a ton of features, however, what I wanted most was smarter sleep cycle waking and a more guaranteed method of getting me out of bed. With this app, you can:

Set it so that the only way to turn it off, is by answering a math equation or having to physically get up and take your phone to an NFC tag, which is the way I do it. I bought some cheap NFC tags (I got a pack of colorful ones), registered one of them with the app, and placed it in my hall bathroom. So the only way to turn off the alarm is if I get out of bed, walk down the hall, and place the phone on the tag.
And you can also set it up to slowly, over a period of 10-15 minutes, begin playing a sound/song/nature sounds, so that you are gently pulled up out of REM. I use the sound of birds chirping.

No matter your mobile platform, I'm sure these apps exist. Just search for "gentle alarm" or "smart alarm" in your app store.
*I also pair this with a smart switch that switches my bedroom fan off around that time and a sunrise alarm clock that I have on a dresser away from my bed that slowly brightens the room over a period of 15 minutes. I use an old Phillips one, but there are newer ones available, such as this guy.
