Just the standard daisy kind I guess I bought everything at Walmart. Iirc the bullets all looked and felt fairly metallic. I’m sleeping out on the coach right now in the living room out of paranoia, but I’ve been sleeping inside the rooms for almost 2 months now after the fact.

Are you people seriously stupid? There are MILLIONS of black plastic guns with tiny orange spots on the barrel that look IDENTICAL to your glock. So by your mentality.... Your glock is now unsafe. Because some kid could confuse it with his plastic toy glock.
NOT TO MENTION. I don't know a single kid who is young enough to confuse a gun and a toy, AND has actually played duck hunt. Yet I bet the majority of kids have played with or at least seen a black plastic toy gun that closely resembles your glock.

Here's what you could do: get a cheap springer, sharpie the orange tip, and your perfect. Idk what type of model you are looking for but a bank robber would most likely use these (depending on time period and how smart they are)
The revolver would be for an older look and if the robber was smart and didn't want to leave behind casings. The only problem you might run into is the shells not looking realistic but it wouldn't be hard to fix. Orange safety tips are only for imitation guns, like Airsoft. Actual BB guns like this Daisy pistol are regulated differently.
He asked for advice. The Daisy 340, while certainly inexpensive, is about the last gun I would advise someone to buy. With steel bbs travelling at a blistering 240 fps out of that smoothbore barrel, I'll be betting on the cans.
I think he should, at least, read the reviews people have posted on Amazon before buying this gun.
