I know my needs are fairly minimal. I see opportunity to grow with this system if I ever need to. I’m excited to lay it out with the actual parts soon and begin thinking about it in the real world.

Any suggestions, info or questions are completely welcome. I know little about electrical, only what I’ve learned from reddit and youtube. Thanks pals and again /u/StolidSentinel for the help and replies to all my messages and questions!

10 metres should be plenty, right?

It looks good but it's pretty pricy imo. Are there any cheaper alternatives? Do you know anything about this one? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01IQOV13G/ref=mp_s_a_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1498335699&sr=8-12&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=led+strip

I'm planning to connect around 45 feet of led strip. What power supply would I need to connect them? I have ones like to these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IQOV13G/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_cwoJzb8JT558F

Ikr!!! We used this!!! Super easy to use, the only annoying part is that the connectors and stuff are sold separately, which is understandable since you dont wanna be stuck with a bunch left over or need to buy more, you know? But with that price it's super reasonable.

I’ll try to figure it out, I’m new here so I’m still learning.
