I'm an old suzuki guy. 9 times out of 10, your rectifier/regulator is fried. Don't buy an OEM replacement either, they were like this from the get-go. What you'll want is a "series" rectifier/regulator (I'll refer to it as an R/R). If you want to check your stator as well, you'll need a multimeter.

What's happening is you're draining your battery and it's not getting charged well, soon it won't even start. When you get up in the RPM's your ignition system pulls some serious electricity, and your battery alone isn't up to the task.

If you want to charge in blindly, here's the likely culprit (I want to say it's located under the battery tray on your specific model) Buy this unit https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZYNGIAO/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You will also need the connectors here http://www.2wheelpros.com/oem-parts/triumph-link-lead-regulator-t2500676-part.html

If you want to go the pro route, grab a decent multimeter and follow this flowchart http://www.thegsresources.com/statorpapers4.php

Any questions feel free to ask, this is all fresh in my mind because I literally just fixed this issue on mine 3 days ago.

Edit: I jumped the gun a bit as I was writing this right before bed. Definitely buy the multimeter first, set the dial to VDC and record the voltage at the battery terminals with everything off, and again with the bike running at idle. should be around 12.8 and 13.5 respectively.
