As pointed out above, aRGB is 5v and each led can be a different color. The regular 12v RGB are all the same color at the same time. Those are usually cheaper. Whatever you buy, make sure it's plugged into the correct port or you will like likely fry that port for good.

those are 5v ARGB meaning they will be controllable thru motherboard rgb software

Are we talking strips for a desk or for a PC?
If it's for a PC, these strips from Deepcool are 18$.
If it's for a desk, you have many, many wheels of taped strips for 20-25$. Got these specifically myself, which have been serving me well for close to 2 years now.
