Depends how much you want to spend and if you want to use it indoors, outdoors, or both.

I'm biased towards the tiny indoor drones because I live in a major city and it's freezing cold right now. So for me, the best cheap starter kit would be:

Blade Inductrix FPV bind and fly version ($99 at any website)
Eachine headset ($75)
Spektrum DXe transmitter ($60)
A few extra batteries and some USB chargers ($50)
Total: $285

You might want to spring for a better transmitter if you're sure you'll be getting more/bigger drones later on. Something like a DX6E, but that's almost 3x the price. Same for the headset -- might want to get real goggles ($200) if you're sure you'll be sticking with the hobby.

And if you have double the budget, I'd consider something like a FlexRC Mini Owl. Same transmitters and goggles should work.

I know the fat sharks are top rated goggles, and have this head positioning thing (is this cool and do you use it much?),
but there is sub $100 goggles with 5 star revues saying that their performance is as good as Fat Shark.

So i will split my purchase up into 1) Drone with 5.8ghz TX, Camera, GPS and 2) Goggles to suit.

Feedback on both please!

Would these goggles work with the Wizard?

Maybe, I think as long as we can market it right we should be fine. The main thing is just to show that it has functions beyond just being fun.

I have these Eachine ones: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01AL0RM8G but haven't been too happy with them so far... Not sure if I will find it worth the price for fatsharks...?

>I think the all in one units are hard to beat.

Recommend me a tiny fpv setup and budget fpv goggles, please.
