Did you try any of these items? I'm not able to apply it to any computer part I try, including the AsRock H110 you linked.

Really wanted to grab a Kraken X31, but I'll just wait for now.

EDIT: Just tried every item on that list and get the following error: "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase." I haven't used the promo on any item yet, because every computer part I've tried gives me that error :(

I went with this setup to allow me to use all of my RAM and Hard drives

MOBO $140 refurb

Case $90

Power Supply $72

$302 Total. I am hoping for a very discounted 1070 from a friend after he gets his 1080

I'm looking at this EVGA unit for my current build.

I never said Samsung SSD

Those things used to be good and I got mine 250GB for only $80 a year ago but since then they've jacked up the price due to popularity.

You can check out a Crucial SSD on sale or something; not a while ago the 500GB ones were going on sale for $100 and it's not uncommon for other SSDs as well.

240GB wise we've got the A-data SP550 which you can see has a much, much better 4K mixed speed; and better 4K read speed as well. 4K write isn't as relavent but even then the A-data doesn't do terrible. You can see the benchmarks here. Keep in mind sequential won't affect performance much at all and is pretty much completely synthetic except for when copying large files

See benchmark here

PSU wise I was exaggerating a little - that's with MIR. Also I think the sale is over.

Now, you can get the EVGA 750 BQ 80+ Bronze 750W PSU for $50 on amazon (link)

The same item has very favorable reviews on Amazon.

Pcpartpicker list doesn’t have the items I’d like to show you, but here’s what I recommend. (This PC could easily game 1440p)

Is the Ryzen 2700x cooler and a meshify c case enough for a gtx 1080ti? (To remain cool and overclock?).

I also haven’t found a lot of information about certification tiers for PSUs- EVGA 750 BQ, 80+ Bronze 750W, Semi Modular, 5 Year Warranty, Includes Free Power On Self Tester, Power Supply 110-BQ-0750-V1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FYDUDJ0/

I was hoping to get a second opinion on this PSU. It’s not gold certified but I’ve been told that EVGA customer service is solid and it’s more affordable than a $70+ gold certified psu. (The 750 watt is the same price as the 650 watt on amazon).

Edit: sup with the downvotes? This is the simple questions thread no???
