Thank you!! I actually drilled a hole in the desk AND at bottom of my cheap keyboard and pulled the wire through so it wouldn't even pop out the "front" when standing over it.

The monitor wires were fished through with tape measure and much patience.

Okay, so, here is everything I used:
Light bar 28" flood/spot
Mount to 1" roof basket bar
Wire Clips
Wire harness, this comes with the bar if you choose the package. I ran the switch through the firewall wire grommet by cutting a hole in the grommet (BE CAREFUL NOT TO CUT ANY WIRES). The wire that plugs into the car was run under the hood and up the window, secured by the clips. I followed this guys guide, u/DauphDaddy He didn't use the same harness but its the same idea. Hope this helps!!
These do wonders for me. I have had to swap out the adhesive on them with this but damn does it work great. I also use the same adhesive to hold my power strips and power blocks to the underside of all my desks and tables. It is supposed to hold 30 lbs of pressure so it should have plenty of stick.

In that case just buy a cheap case that meets your specifications, and be careful with your build, get some cheap stick on cable clips and use those to route cables.
