Parts list:

Vibration isolation platform for $10 - assembly is required. Attach the GoPro mounts before putting it together.

You can use the $1-2 plastic GoPro tripod adapters to go to/from 1/4-20, you don't have to buy the aluminum ones like I did for the following. Saves a bunch of money on the assembly. These are parts I just happened to have already, over my years of using GoPro's for stuff, I just like aluminum better. /shrug

$0.50 for 1/4-20 short bolt from hardware store locally to attach the Tripod-GoPro adapter, otherwise you can find them on Amazon as well I'm sure.

This does a fairly decent job of eliminating a bunch of the warping, I'll take a with/without video when I get the chance here. The four rubber corner bumpers cushion it a good bit.
