I'm in the same boat. According to this guy, it doesn't look like it fits quite right.

I found this one on Amazon that says it's compatible with the 2, but I'm not sold on the slide mechanism it uses and am looking for other possible options.

Edit: I called their support line, and they seemed confused that there wasn't a corner wedge in the box, and are sending me a wedge for free. Yay. But looking at the box, there clearly isn't space for a wedge. This is some newer "Ring 2 + Chime" box deal from Costco, and I'm pretty sure whoever designed it decided to just not include the wedges. I found an unboxing video online so you can compare what the standard Ring 2 box looks like compared to this:

This box wasn't very well thought out. There is a little bag of screws underneath the battery, and a little bag of screws underneath the Ring, but no screws were put in the blue hardware box that has plenty of free space.
