I use this one but there are some other cheap ones.

I didn't even install the drivers. It automatically mapped to B on the keyboard, so I turned tilt off, mapped star power on the keyboard section to B, and it just works.

There are some cheaper ones, generally they're mapped to H or B, but there is some optional firmware you can install. There's a lot of bad reviews about build quality on the cheaper ones, but for like $8, I'd go for it.

Great thing about it is using it to reset in practice mode without moving your hands.

You could find a USB foot pedal and plug it in, your mac will likely pick it up as an input device like a keyboard or mouse. There are probably settings on a Mac or in VLC to set a global hotkey for something.

Nah racing pedals are weighed with extra travel and resistance. You can get a cheap pedal button on Amazon which is much more suited for this where milliseconds matter.

Doesn't that take up a ton of space compared to something like this? I know the drum set is cheaper (and using the face buttons is clever) but I couldn't imagine giving up that much of my office space for the drum set

Have you tried a USB foot pedal for PTT? Can pick one up for like $20 on amazon, program it to any key (I recommend scroll lock), then use PTT with your foot. Nice hands-free solution I highly recommend. Here’s what I have, but there are a ton of options: iKKEGOL USB foot switch

You can grab something like this foot pedal from amazon and bind push-to-talk to it.

I have this one. It works amazing for ptt. You get the software from their site, set the key you want the pedal to be, and you are all set.

You can even uninstall the software or use the pedal on another computer since its all set on the pedal itself.

I use a dog training clicker to mark places that need editing attention. But I've been thinking about getting something like this foot switch. I haven't found one with really good reviews though.

For a handheld solution, this little remote seems like it'd do the trick, and the buttons are probably pretty quiet.

If you don't find any other solutions that suit you, you can always buy a usb foot pedal that can be programmed as your PTT button. It's sort of a dumb solution but it's what I do because my hands are so small that I dislike navigating more of the keyboard than I have to in fast-paced games like Overwatch. This is the one I bought myself. I've been using it for maybe five months now and it's worked well, although there were a couple of times where the software changed the pedal's associated key on me for no real reason. I've changed the keybind to insert, which is a key I almost never use for anything else, and it seems to have fixed that issue. I can now hang out in voice chat whenever I want without bothering my teammates with the sound of my keys clacking constantly while I play.

Kind of pricey for what they are but being able to lean without lifting my fingers off wasd is helpful. I definitely lean way more since i bought them.

As of v1.8, you can connect a USB keyboard and use left/right arrow keys for page turning (not sure if this was supported in an earlier version).

So you could easily get a device like this and configure it to press right arrow for page turning. There's an official windows application to do this and a third party CLI tool for Linux.

Hey there -- had a few folks ask me this so far, so I'll post my keybinds for you. I'm sure others have opinions -- these are just mine:

• bound inventory to caps lock instead of tab (just less of a reach for the pinky)
  
• bound vault only to v, and jump only to spacebar (the first time I attempted a jumpshot, vaulted over my cover instead and died instantly, I vowed "Never again!")
  
• bound 'change camera view' to Tab, though I almost never play in TPP anymore
  
• changed 'lower weapon' (aka switch to fists, put gun away) to h, because I would mash it by accident in some firefights on the default key
  
• personally, I prefer to set sprint mode to toggle instead of hold. Maybe give it a whirl and see if you like it. There's just a lot of running in this game and I like to spare my pinky the grind. Note that you have to enable sprint again when hopping out of vehicles. You can try toggle mode with various things, including leaning.
  
• I used to have autorun bound to my middle mouse button (scroll wheel click), but found it annoying and inconsistent on my mouse. If you have a spare mouse button, that's a good thing to bind to it.
  
• Binding change weapon fire mode to a spare mouse button is also a good idea. Now that I'm constantly using v for vault, I sometimes hit b by mistake and it sucks to enter a firefight thinking you're in full auto when you're not.
  
• Consider reversing the Q and E keys for leaning in order to facilitate strafing and leaning in the same direction at the same time.
  Also, if you get committed to the pc experience, might consider investing in footpedals. I use two of these ikkegol usb footswitches:

Not really. I've been playing push to talk since vanilla WoW. Nowadays, binding it to one of your mouse buttons is the easiest solution. Plus, gives you the ease of jot broadcasting everything you say.

Or, get something like this and use your foot for push to talk.

I got the Genovation CP24 for $72 but it has gone up to $90 on Amazon. It's similar but without advanced scripting offered by X-Keys. For macros and along with AHK, it works very well and is reliable

Two different alternatives are the Logitech G13 ($63 sale) and Elgato Streamdeck ($100 sale). The G13 has great software for flexible macros, including multiple delayed keypresses, but requires the software to be running (it doesn't however require running in Admin, can work on lockscreens, and the G13 has built-in memory which can be moved to a different PC)

The Streamdeck is different but can be used as a 15 macro keypad. The software is weaker and needs to run in Admin for some uses (you can force this in the registry or GPEdit). The benefit is that each key is a screen, you can switch between folders (a useful feature) and profiles on the fly, and it's easy to customize the picture. The downsides are that it's more expensive ($150 MSRP) and uses touchscreen buttons instead of mechanical keys, can only use "normal" macros (Ctrl+Shift+A, not A+B+C without AHK), and the software needs to always be running and sometimes fails to resume from sleep and requires unplugging+replugging

For work, I use the CP24 and have all the keys set to variations of F13 - F24, which work in tandem with AHK depending on the active application or script. At home, I have the G13 for games / browsing etc. and use the Streamdeck for other functions, for example pressing a key (with a macro for Ctrl+F22) Alt+Tabs out of the game, focuses on the last-used Chrome window and presses Space (play/pause media), then activates the game window (using an AHK script).

Edit: For Rainbow Six Siege on the Streamdeck, I made a script so that each operator has a button, and holding that button during loading hovers the mouse over the operator and rapidly clicks - guaranteeing that the user gets the operator. It's not particularly useful because it's always better to see what your team mates are picking first, but I did it to see if it works. Note that in many games, including the actual "game" in R6S (not load screens), scripts like this and the Alt+Tab macro are blocked by anti-cheat software

Edit2: another useful device is a footpedal for a simple macro. I use these as push-to-talk and game-recording functions at home. Freeing up your voice-chat finger in competitive games is very useful. At work, I use one to modify macros for extra functions. Like the CP24 and X-Keys, these footpedals have built-in memory and don't require software to be running and can be moved between PCs
