I have this mount, and am happy with it. Plenty of room for the phone and my external battery.
The Giant is better money wise but I don't think I can carry that in my pocket all day long.
2nd this suggestion. I love my Jackery!
Option 1: Use your phone.
Option 2: Buy a Canon S110
Edit: There are cheaper versions of things like the travel battery (though I would still stick with this brand and get something smaller), the SD cards, etc. if you want to pinch more pennies.
Edit 2: If you're worried about durability, see if you can find an Otterbox case for the phone as well.
get a jackery charger on amazon. i own 3 different sizes. all incredible build quality at affordable prices. the "jackery bar" is probably a good bet for a day's worth of use, the "giant" will get you 2-3 days depending on how many charges you need a day. You can get a Bar for $15, giant for $20, just grabbed one for the girlfriend for her bday. i recommend it to all of my friends and all of ours are still running fine, oldest is 2.5 years old. I originally bought the giant when it was $40 so its pretty cool to see it so low in price now.

I've read only good things about this and its only $30 right now
I am not running lollipop (running stock android) So I can make it through 2/3 of a day. Lollipop is said to increase battery life 50%, which would make it last all day for me, which fits in with user's AC5L4T3R's experience. But for me it's not a big deal as I bought extra chargers and cords for me to plug in (which also helps with a bigger tablet that I have). I also have one of these beasts that I can grab on the way if I need to.
I am just not anti-wire like others. So I can manage ok. If somebody is, the thing I suggest for them is to find wireless charging stations (I may do this myself) and plant one at home, in car, and at work. Just set the phone on it (good to keep track of it anyway) and it will always be topped off.
I use this. Two USB ports, about three full iPhone 6 charges. Second USB port for making friends. Doubles as a flashlight for trying to avoid Zubats.

These have always been outstanding, and $20 is a solid deal, but I'd love to see if I could get it even cheaper!
I have and like the "Jackery® Giant+ Premium Portable Charger Aluminum 12000mAh Power Pack and External Battery Bank with Dual USB Port"
Clumsy name, but nice hardware.

The Jackery brand lipo battery packs allow usage in the 'ups' mode you describe - where you concurrently charge and can independently have full current (independent of the input) to the outputs. In particular, this one does : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AANQLRI/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought a Jackery that can charge an iphone 6+ 4 times and it really does. It wasnt expensive either. Here's a link to the one I bought. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AANQLRI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I honestly have had 0 trouble with it. Works like a charm. It has 2 charging ports. 1 charges faster than the other for some reason but I got this one with 2 ports because me and my friend both kill our batteries when we go on pokemon go adventures.
Edit for some extra info: Only downsides are it's a bit heavy and it takes awhile to charge (Usually over night) from empty to full. To solve the weight problem, just get a backpack, a long charge cable and keep it in there while you use your phone. You wont notice it.
I just got back from a two week trip to the UK & Ireland, with lots of camera crap to keep charged. I travel with two of these CubeTaps matched with the appropriate US to UK adaptor.
All of my Apple stuff (phone, MBP etc.) adaptors can handle 220, and my panasonic, canon and wasabi chargers can too. I also take two Jackery Battery supplies which I charge every night and use during the day to keep topped up... they are lifesavers for traveling.
monoprice has some good ones. I have a jackery that i bought on amazon and love it.
I use this one. I like that it is bright orange so it is easier to find on the bus or inside my bag.
Since nobody is hyping my brand I will say the Jackery Giant is in my EDC. I keep one cable to charge my nook and another to charge my phone. It will do 5-6 full phone charges and 2 each of the Nook and the phone before needing to be juiced up again.
How exactly does the battery on the Nyko work? Do you charge it and the Vita separately? And does the Nyko battery kick life add to the Vita life, or does it work independently? For example.. if the PS Vita battery dies, does the Nyko take over? And how much extra life do you get?
Also, do you think I could use it in conjunction with something like this - http://www.amazon.com/Jackery%C2%AE-Portable-Aluminum-12000mAh-External/dp/B00AANQLRI/ref=cm_cd_ql_qh_dp_t
Sorry for all the questions.. I'm flying overseas to Europe in a week and want to make sure I have enough juice. Finally buying a Vita this weekend!
I was planning on using this. https://www.amazon.com/Jackery-Premium-Portable-External-Panasonic/dp/B00AANQLRI
This is for a custom tablet.
You'll be fine. I charge my Vita with this
Why would a real customer want to spend $24 on your product when they can get a 12,000 maH Jackery for the same price?

If I received your product free, the max I would be able to give it would be 2 stars since it's ridiculously over priced (3 if I was feeling super generous).
Does the hot pink color somehow account for it being twice as expensive as it should be?
