You win the thread. Jeeves and Wooster is the best reading anyone will ever do.

Also, it was a BBC series starring Hugh Laurie (House) and Stephen Fry (if you don't know who Stephen Fry is, I'm sorry for you) - maybe the greatest TV series ever.

/I like P.G. Wodehouse a lot, if that wasn't clear.

For the Films/Movies section, you could check out this movie about making a movie Called Living In Oblivion. It stars Steve Buscemi and it is absolutely brilliant. (it is a comedy of sorts). I love this movie because in an ideal world I would be a film maker, however I realize that is becoming more and more impractical as the industry evolves. So now it is just a hobby I can't afford right now.

Also for British TV (and a movie), if you haven't already seen any of these, I strongly suggest checking them out

  • Peep Show
  • Mitchell and Webb Look Could only find the Region 2 for this
  • Mitchell and Webb Situation Could only find the Region 2 for this
  • Magicians Could only find the Region 2 for this, but I know for a fact this is on Netflix in the USA (I just watched it on there 2 days ago)
  • Jeeves and Wooster Unlike the first 4 links in this list, this one has nothing to do with Mitchell and Webb, in fact this is Stephen Fry, and Hugh Laurie (aka Dr. House)
  • Doc Martin This is a good series about a Doctor who is anti-social, but ends up having to solve his towns problems, and by doing so he has to interact with all kinds of people. It's an interesting show, somewhat humorous. My description might not be quite right, but check it out if you can, I think its a great show.
