I ordered three of those because I felt the connection in the back was too tight because the area where the ports are is curved and was afraid it would stress and damage the ports over time. They work perfectly and keep the cables totally secure.
I don't get why you wouldn't plug the cable directly into the TV but I think this is what you're looking for.
