I bought mine new and it worked great for a couple years until I started having the same battery issue. Literally just last week I followed these instructions by Ifixit and got a new battery from here and my moto360 works like new again. Also if you're clumsy like me you might need to replace the back if you break it on accident like I did.
There are some YouTube tutorials out there you'll want to watch in addition to the Ifixit guide since they gloss over some steps when removing the internal chips
