When I bought it, it was $10 cheaper, and it is really quiet. My cats like it, but they still drink out of the toilet.

Had it for 2 years without issues! He hasn't tipped it over or even attempted to. He really likes to drink directly from the spout thing, too.
You do have to really clean this thing. The pump gets really dirty. It also starts making this loud humming noise when there's not enough water in the reservoir. A very irritating (but effective) reminder to fill up or clean it!
That one looks easier to keep clean. I bought a different one for my bun a while ago. He definitely prefers it over the bottle I keep in his hutch as a backup/auxiliary water source.
