Go with PETG, acrylic is a little bit harder but brittle. This tool is great for finishing the tub ends and this one to cut the tube to length.

Edit: buy first tool according to your tubing size.

For chamfering, this is the only way to go! You can put it in a drill and even shorten your tubing with it. Allows you to sneak up on the perfect length a tiny bit at a time while keeping your chamfer.
